Forget what anyone says, you hit some amazing milestones on your first playthrough, curing the genophage, uniting the galaxy, ending war between Geth and Quarians, saving the Rachni. Getting the good ending with Legion is especially impressive, great job Lite. :)

@@brycealthoff8092 boss? he is a hero who tried to saved us from the terrible ending XD (and even with the added endings, i still believe only the "red" one is real, the others mean shepard fell to indoctrination and didn't destroy the reapers. in arrival for example, the indoctrinated operative tries to justify what she is doing and deciding against stopping the reapers. and in me3 shepard gives in to indoctrination when not destroying them)

I was expecting the water works, I know how much you put into the series, I mean you had me tearing up. Shepard saved the galaxy, saved life, even in a way saved the Illusive Man’s soul, at the end. Most players that I know picked the destroy option, it hurts because you stopped a war between the Quarians and Geth, had deep relationships with EDI & Legion, and they were sacrificed, sucks!! I've really enjoyed your play through of the ME series and watching you come through the story and experience it! Thank you so much for your first playthrough experience. It is very sad to hear that the Mass Effect community discouraged you in that way. The best thing to do is to not give them the attention. The best thing about this Trilogy is the replayability each playthrough gives you a little more I always hold it together and then when Joker stands up and wishes him good luck and instead gets a handshake I always lose it there. This is my favorite series and I love watching other people experience it for the first time. One of the reasons I love this series so much is that it can played over and over again with different options. Mass Effect is my favorite series of all time. I loved all the characters. Such great writing, character growth, and the soundtrack...oh my god. I also loved playing Mass Effect Andromeda despite everyone saying how bad it was and how Mass Effect was better. So what! I found your channel looking for mass effect first playthroughs, so I whached all your journey from me1, because as a fan myself, I love to see other people reacting to my favorite game and also because I love seeing others experiencing the emo8i felt playing this for the first time. For me mass effect is a place where I can go with my immagination and dream and I'd love for others to be it that way to. This is why I am deeply sorry you had to endure such comments that may have soured your journey through this beautiful universe that is mass effect. I hope in spite of everything that playing this game gave you something, all the emotions the challenges and the choices. Unfortunately some people can't appreciate others making their own choices... My first playthrough was horrible I got a lot of people killed but still it's mine and after playing it other times I saw the beauty of the "perfect playthrough", but always remember the first time I played. That's why I think people should let others do their thing without judgment. It's a bit like life, we get to live our life for the first time and we shouldn't judge the mistakes of others and ruining their experience. That's why if you ever decide to play mass effect Andromeda even if it might be bad or not as great as the trilogy think it's worth a try, so you can judge yourself. I also think Destroy is the 'best' ending and you only get the scene where Shepard breathes if you reach a certain amount of war assets! - I didn't play the trilogy myself until 2022 and I had a blast with it! After playing Starfield last year, it got me wanting to replay the trilogy so I played the 1st one just before Christmas last year and then I started looking to see if there were any creators who had done or was doing a playthrough of this trilogy and that's how I found your channel! I got round to finishing my ME3 replay at the start of May this year! - Mass Effect 3 is my favourite ME game with ME2 being my least favourite which I know is an unpopular opinion! - I hope we'll see Mass Effect Andromeda on your channel at some point in the future! I honestly really enjoyed it and its one of my top 2 ME games! - I'm so sorry you experienced a lot of toxicity from certain fans of the franchise! It was noticeable to me when you were struggling in your videos regarding all that! Other games where I've seen creators receive a lot of toxicity, depending on their choices of course or if they missed something, is the 1st Life Is Strange game & Telltale Walking Dead Season 2 especially with what you choose at the end of Episode 5 involving Kenny and Jane!

Apologize in advance for the book but you inspired me to say something. I have recently been watching a lot of first play throughs of Mass Effect. I want to re-experience the wonder I felt my first time playing and I can only do that through the eyes of others. I also am hoping to see unexpected results/dialogue I have never seen in my own many, many playthroughs. I cannot change how I perceive things in the game even when I try to force a different path so I tend to get the same results and dialogue. I have never; however, felt the need to try and control, direct or spoil someone else's playthrough as that defeats the purpose of watching. I have now watched first time videos where decisions were made and I was on the edge of my seat wondering if the writers wrote a way out for that path! These wonderful shortcuts or side steps helped me discover even more about the game I love. I also heard tons of dialogue I never heard before. That is the beauty of real first time playthroughs and if most were honest, they would admit they too really wanted to see the unexpected and not some cookie cutter playthrough. My first playthrough was a total mess as I did it without using any guides or watching videos but I still had fun. We didn't really have guides way back then or even a lot of experience with these type of games lol. You did much better than me so be proud! Since my first run, I have tried out all kinds of different ways of playing, including the different classes and even trying to force myself to go renegade when I am a hard-core paragon. It all was a ton of fun. I definitely have gotten my money's worth out of this game. Andromeda is a let down after the original. Decisions mean pretty much nothing and even for the few where it means something, they force you to do things you would never do in order to get a better result. Not happy with that. I can happily live with my decisions but not when the only other option that the game rewards as the best one was horrific. The character development is not there either so you never feel anything more than a pat on head attitude for the others around you and the face animations are sad. Your squad mates just stare at you while you stand at terminals doing the busy work the game gives you. It is creepy to say the least. If you play this, do so for the combat (which is great), numerous quests and interesting worlds and not for character development or romance. Then it will be fun. Kind of like playing a very long COD single player instead of a ME game. That is how I play it now. I am sorry that what you and your husband will take away from this wonderful series is the toxicity you saw from some in chat. The behavior online from some these days is just brazen. I do hope you know that is not a representation of the true Mass Effect community. As always polite society tends to stay quiet and avoid conflict while the asshats with the benefit of being anonymous, run rampant. I see 1,000 likes on this video and not 1,000 people commenting so you can likely guess those folks enjoyed the video and felt no need to criticize you. I wish there was a way to fix it but social media is heading for the dumpster because of these out of control keyboard warriors. You might want to in future just take the trash out when you have posters who will not listen and it becomes clear their only purpose is to disrupt.

I watched the video until the end Lite and i get everything you said. The Mass Effect community is with you and we appreciate your first and unique experience. People are nasty when it comes to the things they love --- they want to replay the game through the eyes of new players, cause the game has affected them deeply to the point that, since they can't re experience their first playthrough they try to get the same thrill from other content creators. I hope that despite that, your journey into this amazing saga has created good and long lasting memories as it has for many of us. Sending you the all love! I discovered your channel a couple weeks ago due to some suggested stuff from the algorithm…I don’t usually watch many streamers, but I like seeing good ones. I stuck with most of your playthroughs because of your emotional responses. Seeing your tears and real emotions is why people watch. Don’t be embarrassed. People are watching you for those emotional responses. When I played mass effect 3 for the first time, I cried, multiple times. I’ve really enjoyed seeing those heartfelt feelings. Especially your love for your baby, Grunt. And knowing you’re a real mom makes that even more special. I’ve been looking forward to your reaction to the ending. Hopefully you’ll continue with some emotional games in the future. I’d suggest the Persona series, starting with Persona 3 Reload. Thank you! It’s been a good journey.

yes! YES! Was so happy when you hit the Renegade prompt with Kai Leng, probably one of my favorite revenge moments in any game, especially "This is for Thane". That scene with Tali and Garrus is just them, one of the reasons I never really wanted to romance either of them in my play throughs...I think they work together. If you want to see the other endings there should be a save file called Restart Mission Citadel : The return. It starts you where you are struggling to the beam with just your pistol, still a ways to go but at least not everything over and just for yourself if you ever want to see. Regardless of anyone's opinion, how YOUR experience with the the trilogy is YOURS and YOURS alone! I chose destroy because the Reapers killed trillions of innocent organics so the cycle had to end!! I mourned the loss of EDI and the Geth, but destroy was my choice every time. I cried during and after, and I cried with you when you made a difficult choice, but the right choice.
