Bounce lands are so wonderful for casual edh decks! The extra land in hand is great of course, especially on the mulligan decision, but there's plenty more. In my Sidisi Brood tyrant dredge deck I use all three available to pick up cycling lands, reset vivid lands, pick up extra lands to loot away, fuel spellshapers and even help me discard a dredger to handsize in a pinch. A Derevi token build if mine untaps bounce lands several times during combat to activate instant token makers and cast humongous x-spells. Also reset a hide-away lands. All that while being some of the most affordable duals.

in terms of extra tech, heroic intervention and wrap in vigor are nice against boardwipes, asceticism can help too AND provides hexproof to combat against non-destuction targetted removal (wild ricochet is also hilarious here). REB, pyroblast and guttural response can reduce reliance on vexing shusher (veil of summer too i s'pose). biggest tech for me would be to take a leaf out of the only modern deck to care about the bouncelands and find room for an amulet of vigor. that way you can make infinite green/red mana whilst comboing- lol, throw it all into a banefire and oneshot someone in a way that also can't be countered

I built this deck a few weeks ago and it is a blast to play. Something worth noting is that once people wise up to what the deck does, Avenger of Zendikar, Rampaging Baloths, Nesting Dragon and so many other spells can be alternate wincons if your commanders are killed. The deck doesn't really become very degenerate unless BOTH Toggo and Kodama are out--it can be a bit telegraphed--which is nice IMO. Ppl hate being infinited out of nowhere.

Notably Tireless Tracker performs as a functional backup of Toggo, even down to making artifacts for things like Quicksmith Genius who loots on Artifact ETB to let you draw your deck, or Giraphur Aethergrid, which lets you tap two artifacts to shoot someone or something. All of these are just really good with Toggo/Kodama as well, and function as wonderful value pieces to help you keep going until you're able to just close out the game and go for lethal.

Toggo is hilarious, almost a un-card. I enjoy the synergies Toggo has in the 99 of my land matters Korvold deck. Ideally Korvold and Toggo are out: play land get rock, equip rock for 1 to a creature, pay 1 to tap and sacrifice rock to throw rock, draw a card and +1/+1 counter on Korvold, deal 2 damage to any target or Korvold enters play and eats a rock gets a +1/+1 counter and draw a card. :P

You can use the soratami creatures and meloku from kamigawa which all have abilities that let you return lands to your hand as pet of ability activations, so if you have a way to make a single land tap for 2 it means you can do this combo with any land.

So I found out about their interaction pretty quick and wanted to construct a combo that allows you to “throw” rocks at opponents for infinite damage. It’s an eleven card combo but I don’t think there’s a more efficient way to actually equip and throw the rocks infinite times in a turn. Here are the cards you need: Toggo Kodama Stone-Seeder Hierophant Magnetic Theft Isochron Scepter Clock of Omens Battered Golem Grinding Station Lotus Cobra Amulet of Vigor Gruul Turf It’s all on the stack and pretty hard to explain, but essentially you are using isochron scepter and magnetic theft to instant speed equip rocks to the stone-seeder. You use the land and lotus cobra mana for the isochron and throw costs, while the seeder provides the body that taps to throw. The order at which all the triggers go on the stack is very important - see if you can figure out how it works :D

If you somehow don't have the kill in hand, you could always use Gonti's Aether Heart and take an extra turn. Also, Horn of Greed will allow you to draw your whole deck and win somehow with that.

Grinding Station. Every rock entering the battlefield = someone is getting milled for three cards

Altar of the Brood makes all opponents mill 1 for each rock and land entering (faster milling than Grinding Station in all but 2 player games), and it can't be stopped by Hexproof or Shroud. Also a little bit cheaper. Grinding Station does work as a self-mill engine for finding specific cards though, like the land you need and Life From The Loam to get that land out of the grave.

Don't forget about the new Guildless Commons, Living Twister, Nissa, Vital Force, and lastly Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar. (Although, admittedly I can't find a discard outlet that wins you the game, and the few which are free aren't ideal, but they at least get you the infinite landfall with Multani!)

Should’ve mentioned the colorless bounce land they just printed in Commander Legends as an option as well

I'd add Grinding Station for mill (with properly stacked effects, of course once the rocks start falling) Havoc Jester can help combo wins with Krark-Clan Ironworks

What creature would I add to be a destroy on sight target? How about EVERY creature in the deck? Add both Adventuring Gear and Skyclave Pick-Axe to add a fairly strong Landfall trigger to whatever creature they happen to be equipped to. If that creature has trample, all the better. But turning an Elvish Visionary or a 1/1 insect token into a game ending bomb out of nowhere is sure to turn some heads.
