⤈ WHO WE ARE ⤈
We are Philly and Keely and we live full time in our tiny home on wheels Martha. After building our DIY home in a Citroen Relay camper we spent a year living on the streets of London before quitting our jobs only to be met with lockdown. Then we took our van further than she had ever been before to the very beautiful Turkey. Enroute we stopped off in Spain for a few weeks where we experienced every van lifers worst nightmare, we were robbed and they stole all valuables in our van. But now we are back on our feet, fully MOT’d and back on the road through Europe before we experienced another vanlife nightmare... our van caught fire! After the trauma of that we had a massive change of plan and have now made our way to Japan. We enjoyed a three month Japanese Adventure and are now back in Martha ready for some more adventures. #vanlifescotland

In the early 90s,we were driving along Loch Ness when my young son told me he saw the Loch Ness monster. I couldn't stop, but the next day in the paper, lots of people had seen it too. I believe in Nessy.

You might already know this but there is a reindeer herd in the Cairngorns. We went on a walk to feed them back in 2010. How cute to just see them out of your window though. We also saw a herd recently in Alaska and got to go on a walk in the woods with them - which was so fun. A big congrats to Keely for making it to the top on Ben Nevis - what an accomplishment.

Wow, starting off with a beautiful calm loch and a swim, what could be better....but then, no, really....reindeer!!! How cool was that! Isn't it amazing the rich variety of life we have here on earth. Yes, I do think there is "something" there in Loch Ness, I read where there is roughly 3,000 species in Loch Ness so why not an unknown Nessie there, somewhere. Congrats, you got to the top of Ben Nevis🍌💪⛰. The sooner you finish, the sooner you start again to some place new and exciting, and it's the Land of Oz!🦘🦘🦘You're there in the Spring too, nice! True we do have dangerous wildlife but in my 70 years I have seen one snake in nature and zero funnel Web spiders. You just need to stay aware when your are in bush land. We also have beautiful birds and other interesting wildlife. Wear sunscreen, a wide brim hat and bring your swimmers as we have beautiful beaches that stretch for miles 😊

Fantastic Video guys...great to have been following you up in Scotland, especially just having been up to Fort William for the week. Weather was pretty bad, so not able to do Ben Nevis, but did an amazing walk up Glen Nevis from the Lower Falls car park all the way up past Ben Nevis Waterfall to Steall Waterfall - absolutely stunning. Australia...WOW...can't wait! 😃💖

hey guys, i did ben nevis 40 years ago, i was 17 at the time, on an army and adveture coarse, canoe trip survival and all that stuff, we were camped at the botton of ben nevis, we got flooded out and had to go up ben nevis in a storm with a full 40 pound back pack, coming down with full pack on was tough on the legs, when we got to take the packs off at the bottom, we felt like we were walking on the moon, we felt so light that we could jump 10 yards, when we went up, with the wind and the rain, those steps and walk ways were like mini rivers, probably could not do that same today with health and safety, we were with the professionals the army, Which inspired me to serve in the army few years later

My hubby says "Keely says you never regret a swim". I laughed and got up and you know what?......I didn't regret it😂. Now I know if I moan on a hike he'll say "if Keely can do Nevis you can do this". South Australian local here, just came across your page. Northern Territory & top Queensland you will have more dangerous critters to worry about especially in the water. To be honest I've lived here all my life & never been bit by a snake or spider so it's not as bad as the rest of the world thinks but keep that to yourselves or we will be inundated

Well done Keely you made it ! Not done much mountain walking for a few years due to life getting in the way 😢but definitely remember the false summits 😊 Feels great when you get to the top! Loved watching you two around Scotland and will miss seeing your vlogs in Scotland but look forward to what you get up to next . By the way , looks like you were the only ones ( apart from the guy taking you ) that enjoyed the boat ride on Loch Ness , the others looked like they had faces like smacked a***s 😂.
