Also, i absolutely love history, renovation, and a good backstory like this makes it all the more fantastic. Ive been following from the beginning ❤. Brilliant job your doing with it all. Your dedication, patience, and willingness to learn about every bit of the renovation process is certainly to be admired and respected. Excellent work by the skilled trades people.

😂 Are you up for a challenge Hopwood?! 😂 We all know the answer to that one!! Awww, missed the chat 😢 but this looks amazing, it’s proper magic watching the plaster moulds come to life. Wonder how many bags of plaster you’ll get through in the next few years! 🧐 Those details are stunning, the ancestors would be proud 😍❤

Love that you are sharing the heritage skills with the community is amazing, I hope you get plenty of the school kids in! You are simultaneously giving folks valuable skills, and making history touchable and relatable while giving the community ownership which will help keep this beauty safer in the future. Win-win for all. Maybe we can bring some of those skills back here to the US and bring thes facets of architecture nack into use. Perhaps in the future you can offer courses for folks to pay to learn the skills while also helping rebuild. Even have a consecutive series of courses for folks to be able to come do several things and make the airfare costs make more sense. Thanks for sharing all of this.

More plaster. I don’t know if goes on wet wall rendor of they add some more The scratches that you saw on the wall under the molding is what allows that plaster to grip
