I actually been playing DD a lot lately only been playing a few months, at first i sort of was a bit reckless! Then i realised i was Dying to quickly and no good to anybody! So been playing cautiously with Jagger and Kidd and FR25 i have been researching Italian Destroyer actually find them fun with their full speed smoke! Going have to research British to get daring etc. I also think being in a DD gets you closer to the action which is much more fun!

how about a SAP story with an Italian DD. Sure, limited range of guns, but the yolo's you can do with the torps, smoke and speed boost. Then just how hard the guns hit.

Picked up Vampire and love it. just about ready to reset to pick up Druid. I "like" Daring BUT Vampire tops it, and it looks like Druid does too. Both are Daring off takes. My problem with Daring? It's too damned slow and no throttle boost. Vampire is bad ass, crawling smoke, 5k hydro, throttle boost, improved AP pen angles! OK half the torps of Daring and probably 1/3rd of the torps DPM because the reload isn't 1/2 that of Daring BUT: All in all, "I think" that Vampire is far better than Daring, I'm loving it! """""Thanks for posting this""""", it affirms that I indeed do want Druid and that it's worth the grind of a reset.

Druid is slow, just like the Daring. Nothing funnier than watching a BB chase down a Druid who is desperately trying to shoot and the BB just goes bow in and takes no damage. Gun only DDs have no big alpha threat to stop a charging BB or cruiser. You almost never see one in ranked for this exact reason. A player with half a brain will put a Druid under extreme pressure, a smart DD player will eat a Druid alive. You rarely get time in ranked, which is what Druids need to be effective. Second game showed the value of spotting, speed and alpha strike perfectly.

@@deaninchina01 Oh well I'm already on my way, did my reset and there's only 2 DDs to research. Collector's item? (lol) Vampire is really good although I haven't played it in ranked. It has weaknesses too however, the crawling smoke for instance in being continually small can be blindly pummeled by high rate of fire DDs. A bit tricky for Vampire but in it continually laying smoke for the long term you can continually blind the enemy as you run so, it's both Good and bad. I do like Vampire a-lot. I don't know how much time you have been playing but 5 BB + 5 DD and 2 cruisers have been the standard tier 10 game for ages. Cruisers are still great, but certainly much harder to play than DD or BB.
