Druid Full Gunboat IS BROKEN!

The Druid looks like a ship even a potato like me could have fun with. I just have to navigate resetting lines etc. for research bureau points. Welcome back hope you had a relaxing vacation.

It will be fun but difficult to play if you haven't played DDs before .You might like Vampire in that case.

Druid is fun, but I sometimes get myself into a trap because it's different than other DDs. Druid is relatively slow. I have been run down and eaten when a hydro cruiser or BB goes Pac-Man mode. It lacks the stopping power of torpedoes. Druid DPM is great, but that's all it has. Players don't worry about getting suddenly deleted if they push you. When you're up front spotting, it's not easy to smoke up and continue fighting. You rely on the red team to make themselves visible, which they don't always do.

radar dos spot you in a storm, but only for the ship with the radar. the other ships will only see you on the mini map. not sure but I think the radar is alo reduced in range for the radar ship.

Radar range and hydro are not reduced in range. Any ally ship within 8km of a red ship under hydro or radar will see it. Outside of 8km they will get a min-map icon only.

I've scarcely played my Druid, but I just got to do it. Tonight, I talked the clan into using your harassment by French DD (still prefer Kleber for it's range) while hard push by all else to the different cap. We went 6-1, best night we've had this season I didn't have big numbers most games, but I had an Annapolis, 2 Des Moines and a Smaland all coming after me one game, while they took everything else. Several games in the 800k-1M potential range. Thanks.

Vamp 2 is more forgiving and of course has more utility, but Druid is more potent when played to its strength.

I would say you just cant play same way as V2. No torps mean you cant scare any rushing BB.

vamp is more a up tiered haida . druid is more of a specialized daring . like the Salem and the des Moines all good ships just different play styles

yeah just like everyone says, it depends on your playstyle. if you like bullying caps and having torps, then V2, if you like the petro style game play then druid
