The UI on the mangler squigs isnt bugged, thats the damage they do to themselves when they explode. All abilities in the game that sacrifice the unit it is used on have this. Their actual damage is the line below that says 84 dps with magical attacks and 71% ap

Great video, Kleaper! For the mangler squig explosion that shows it's doing 13,000 damage, that is just self damage to ensure the unit dies when the explosion goes off. The actual damage to other units is the much smaller number below that stat

14:55 Funny enough, I play a lot of Greenskins. This is an issue I CONSTANTLY ENCOUNTER. I'll play as/confederate every faction near me, attack Barak Varr (cause they *always* have a garrison there in my campaigns lol), and they'll retreat somehow. I don't know why, this just happens. He *was* garrisonned, you *were* looking at it right, the game just went a little bit kaput.

It’s not just Gorbad who is broken. I played Golgfag earlier and was able to amass 45k gold by turn 15. He literally just doesn’t need settlements, and his contracts can get you massive amounts of meat to level up camps. Haven’t tested Khorne yet, but we’ll see.

Played a game with my friends as Ironbad, same thing happened where Barak Varr were able to retreat from the city when it was besieged. (in my case, after one turn of attrition, I brought my second army up to reinforce and THAT’S when the Barak Varr army were suddenly able to “NOPE” away) I did some digging, found a random reddit thread and a SPECIFIC POST that said, “Cities with ports are able to retreat to the ocean when they’re besieged.” …I never heard of that mechanic before, and neither did a buddy of mine, though he did realize that it’s a “glitch” where the army being besieged are retreating over land, when their only option is supposed to be getting on a boat. Some testing will be needed to validate this hypothesis, lol.

44:30 not a new mechanic, just kind of rare to do. did it a few months ago when an elf army ambushed me with just a leader, and the reinforcements had 2 minutes to enter. I killed the lord, saw and ignored the ability to end the fight, then set up to engage the other army coming in and turned an ambush into a decisive victory. My last played is being reported July 20th of this year. so at least some time before that the mechanic existed.

You should definately take a look a Skulltaker's campaign. His Skull of Cloaks upgrade that lets him spawn a Blood Host army whenever he defeats a lord legit spawned 100 armies by turn 75. It is absolutely crazy. Also, love your content, you are amazing
