Hardpsace Shipbreaker lets you do this. The ships in question are space ships and it's in zero gravity. It's super cool.

The chop saw is powered by the same type of two stroke engine that powers most chainsaws. It does indeed sound like a chainsaw. That ship is an L.P.N. (also L.N.G) or Low-Pressure Natural Gas tanker - an extremely dangerous operation to decommission with spark producing grinders, saws and cutting torches. The tanks are usually blown out for at least a week with high powered fans before the first demolition tool is ever used on it. Sometimes the tanks are filled with salt water to evacuate any remaining vapors.

You seem to know a lot about salvaging work, so I want to ask if there's anything on a ship/plane/whatever vehicle that can be reused as is? I watched a documentary about plane decommissioning, they just crushed entire chunks of the plane with all the wiring and electronics inside, why can't those be ripped out and reused in something else?

@@DangNguyen-xx3zi I can only answer concerning ship decommissioning. I have indeed done this work down in southern Louisiana. Complex machinery like diesel engines, drive gear boxes or transmissions, generators, compressors, etc are usually lifted out of the ship and sold to remanufacturers or as-is to individuals as "pull outs". Electronics like radars, navigation and control systems, large electrical distribution panels and generator cross-over control panels are salvaged for resale "as-is". Everything else is cut or burned into bite sized bits and sold as scrap metal. It's too labor intensive to pull out electrical wiring and plumbing and not worth much on the market - you don't use old wiring to fit out a new ship, or even to re-fit an old ship. A steel ship has a 30 year "useful" life expectancy in a salt environment. Hull steel that has corroded to a thickness less than 3/16 inch on a U.S. flagged commercial ship must be replaced to 18 inches beyond the area of corrosion - not with a patch, but it has to be cut out and replaced with a very precise air/water tight type of Coast Guard inspected weld. Welders certified to do this weld are paid $80 to $120 per hour - sometimes more for independent contractors. After 30 years of chipping rust and repainting, this "deficient" dimension (and less) can be found all over the ship. The most cost effective thing for all concerned is to cut the hull and deck structure up and send it to a smelter to be melted down to form new steel plates. Some yards will take the time to pull out the electrical wires if they are copper core, but only to sell as scrap copper.

Hey there. I realy liked the game and buyed it becouse of you. Just some small tips for you. 1) whit the hammer if you hit something on the flassing light you do extra dammage. 2) your saw needs new blades you can buy them at the store ( your saw was broke thats why it takes that long) 3) also you need fuel for the fire cutter. Its a shame this game isn't more like "Hardspace Shipbreaker". Tearing apart vessels in a wildcat manner as you're doing is extremely hazardous work. You've got low oxygen areas, high speed/temperature tools, unknown chemicals, left over fuel, probably asbestos, falling hazards, crushing weights - just bad all around. Doing it right is very expensive, which is why so many less reputable companies just beach a ship off Bangladesh or similar places, and let third world workers kill themselves for scrap metal. This really could have been an important statement about the world, but its just repetitive tasks to get cubes.

It is almost an idle game in concept. Do repetitive things to see a number go up. A lot of games use the money earning and loot and rarity systems as a way to tap into addictions, and I'm going to take a wild guess and say that this isn't game of passion considering it's yet another Playway game. Not to say some of the games they publish aren't legitimately interesting, but they are definitely in it for the money.
