Liberia's conflict had foreign influences writen all over it. The French have most of West Africa under its domain. There is a level of coorporation among the political elite in most of the countries who seem to be unbothered. It is high levels of corruption, chaos, lack of strong institutions and political will that creates opportunities for foreign governments to exploit.
