The most effective tooth extraction service on the western front. Those jaw busting bullet cams are pretty brutal. That panzerfaust hit was a thing of absolute beauty. I got a good chuckle from that. I think I should do a few loud runs myself, I’m so used to being a sneaky bastard it would be quite a change of pace.

Go for it! My usual play style is as stealthy as possible, and it’s amazing how different a challenge it is to go loud. Just be aware that you will probably spend half the run traversing back and forth through the map searching bodies for much-needed supplies!

Loving all the content, great work. Since you asked for suggestions at the end of this video, have you thought about doing any Sniper Elite 5 videos where you pursue completing tasks to get any of the challenging medals, ribbons, achievements, etc. that type of thing ?

It’s an interesting suggestion but I’ve already got most of them! I was going to do a video hunting the gnomes on Guernsey but someone else beat me to it, so I didn’t bother in the end! I’ve got a few videos to edit up and some more to record, it’s just free time being a factor now!

Hey I recently found your channel and am absolutely loving it! You make some very entertaining videos on one of my favorite game series. The description of the Model-D says that standard ammo penetrates helmets, none of the other pistols have that so that’s a plus to using it I suppose. And I’m glad you mentioned the ‘suspicious activity on the bridge’ is most likely unfinished. I think this map and the last DLC mission has some sort of cut content. By the area with the tank in Conqueror, Karl mentions a mortar which doesn’t amount to anything and says “let’s see what these Nazi’s are after” in relation to nothing as well. There is also an officer whose subtitles are labeled as ‘Quartermaster’ but there isn’t anything special about him as far as I can tell. Love the clips from Blackadder too.

The whole game obviously had cut content. The VIP flags - why? The footprints - surely they were supposed to make Karl trackable? The 'infiltrating in trucks' - strongly suggested as a feature in the trailer - I WISH they had kept this!

@@Nifter71 I think Karl makes a comment on Landing Force about infiltrating in a truck. Such a shame its not included, it would have been proper old-school Metal Gear style. It would also go some way towards explaining why there are so many bloody trucks driving around those roads so frequently...

Another great video! Honestly, I'm gonna miss this series lol. Really enjoyed this one. Also, it would be amazing if you do another run but with different approach (like Non-leathal- kill list/objectives only). I'm like around 450 hrs into SE5 and tried playing with non-leathal strat. It's actually very fun. Of course, it took me few attempts to do that on Authentic but it was fun. Fun fact: You can finish Occupied Residence within 30 minutes with non-lethal strat. Took me around solid 4-5 tries on Authentic. It was challenging but quite fun. I remember i got invaded during this level and ultimately juke him out to finish the level without killing him. :D

Already on it, although it might not be a full playthrough, I’m certainly interested in the non-lethal and/or main objectives only so that will probably be next!

Excellent run, really enjoyed the series. Looking forward to any new takes. I could suggest a run where you can only use one weapon. For example you can only use your sidegun or your smg or even only your Fairburne-Sykes dagger. That would be fun, melee only.... hehehe

I'm always overly cautious when invading anyone on authentic, the amount of times they have every objective done and are camping with every body on the map trapped is so annoying.

Congratulations lol on finishing the Loud Lunatic run! Yeah, you just can't take this approach on most maps in SE4 - maybe Bitanti Village, cos you can choose defendable spots to avoid getting flanked. The punishment for playing like a Loud Lunatic only increases as you go further back in the series! Although, interestingly, Sniper Elite 1 offers no indicators of sound cover at all, plus no generators or suppressed rifles, so you're always loud. But you certainly can't just run about, guns blazing, cos that game is BRUTAL, and you WILL rage quit I agree that the 'shooting while bandaging' feature in SE5 is OP. If Karl can SMG enemies in the face with accuracy - WITH ONE HAND - then why does he even bother using two?! That feature should at least be reduced to using sidearms ONLY - after all, that's what injured enemies are reduced to. I have to say, this level looks like an absolute cakewalk on campaign. Loads of recycled assets too.

The only place I thought I might be screwed on this one was down by the AA gun, and that was more surprise than anything because I didn't know there were that many enemies around that area to hear me (because the map is so empty). Rough Landing has nothing on Secret Weapons, which I think has around 180ish enemies, and getting into the dome on that map remains the most challenge I've had in this series. After this run I've concluded that Rough Landing is one of the worst maps in the game. Nice design idea, but poor execution. It feels like it should cater to sniping, with the circular nature of the map around the lake, but there is too much mist and too much foliage to make that a practical option most of the time. I get the impression that the visibility was dialed down for performance reasons, probably because there are so many trees 🤣. Getting shots over 200 meters would be tough because the mist makes it very hard to see anything beyond that! It also sucks for invasions IMO, as there are sections of the map that the invader cannot access at all (like the church tower and, I think, the resistance camp), so that can also make getting to Karl impossible. I had a player a few weeks ago who mined the church tower windows and hid up there, waiting for me to spring their trap. I used my two grenades and had to quit; they obviously didn't know this as they otherwise wouldn't have wasted their traps, but going near the drainpipes just gives a mission boundary message! So yeah, the map is a bit 💩

@@duckwit85 Weird. I mean, what's the point in Rebellion producing a map supposedly aimed at Invasion - but then not really thinking about how best to make that map work for Invasion?! Aren't they farming out these DLCs to some other companies? Seems like someone's really taking their eye off the ball...

@@Nifter71 I would be very surprised if the invader could access the basement or waterfall cave with the pilots, or the resistance camp either. I haven't tried to access those locations in invasions, but if I were a betting man I'd wager they would all be out of bounds, which can potentially break invasions as it did in my experience at the church. You can't spring a trap if you can't reach it, so there was no resolution and wasted time on both sides, all to protect some NPC's; Why not just make it so the invader cannot see them? Or hurt them? Sure its unrealistic, but its not game breaking. Its unacceptable that there are still potentially game-breaking issues this far into release, like areas where there are visible holes in the scenery (Secret Weapons?!), general instability, trap defuse issues (seems to apply to bodies more than mines), spawning issues in invasions where you can spawn directly in front of a player unable to move and there's no spawn protection, amongst other niggles. The DLC is also overpriced for what it is. It all feels so half-arsed.

I actually only play once every couple of weeks. Check the community page, I announce on there when I’m recording invasions, otherwise I don’t do personal battles, I get many requests and don’t have the time to fulfil any of them! Keep your eye out on a weekend though, that’s when I play!
