When I did the furniture on my Saiga AK74, I stained it with the mahogany Minwax, then I dyed some polyurethane with scarlet red RIT dye and gave it 11 total coats over the next couple weeks. Turned out to make a beautiful Russian Red.

Matt, you need to load the Ultra Four up on the trailer and drag it up to Moab Utah and do the trails there. It's only 1037 miles or 16 hours away through Albuquerque. I promise you won't be disappointed......oh....and leave Dangerous Dave back at the house, he likes to flip things too much! What you could do is ship all of your rolling stock toys by 40' flatbed trailer up ahead of time and then fly up and enjoy them for a few days before loading them back up on the flatbed and then flying back home. Mere would love the full moon on the white snow right now!

Honestly, depending how you play it, that elf thing can be seriously creepy, as in not in the fun way. And it’s basically just conditioning kids to accept intrusive surveillance. Make it a fun little game, have him doing crazy stuff for the kids to laugh and it’s all good. Downplay the whole “watching you” thing. I’ve seen kids genuinely distraught, full-on inconsolable tears, when parents have tried to use it as a behaviour control thing (which is its intended purpose, if you read up on it).
