Hello tcotiago, and welcome to my channel! Thank you very much for the sub and comment. I would say I would eventually let the pirates resettle their island after I had spent the time upgrading and improving my islands and economy. Then ai would make peace and trade with them.

@@cataxo444 Indeed they do. The spawn at the edge of the map and sail to the base unless you stop them. In my next video I will give tips about some different but also effective ways of dealing with the pirates. Stay tuned!

I waited till I got the steam ships, built 5 battlecruisers (one of which is a Pyro) gave them legendary and epic hitpoints and damage boosters, and unbleached the fire on them. That was beautiful to see lol. I played a lot of RTS games so it wasn't that hard to micromanage the battle.

Thanks! My first sandbox game and I ignored/avoided pirates and now they are swarming anything toward the center of the map. I haven't built any combat ships yet since I haven't needed any. Now I've got to deal with them.

Hello circuschris and welcome to my channel. They will settle it faster then you can sink them. You have to attack them as soon as they come onto the map.

I destroyed all the buildings but the war didnt stop. I couldn't even reach the white flag in the progress bar even though there were no buildings left to destroy

No problem, ok so, the pirates can't be defeated forever. So no elimination, just expulsion from the map for a time. Maybe you missed a defensive cannon on the edge of the island?

How do you deal with Pirates? Do you make an alliance? Pay them off? Blockade and farm them for loot? Destroy their base? And how about the pirates in the New World?

What is required to get a trade deal with the old world pirate? I have her at 50-60 for hours now and its at best (near impossable) while most of the time its (zero) chans. Her demand for a non aggression pact is only 4000 and we have been at peace for many hours i dont get it.

Hi, all you have to do is to keep the island blockaded so the leader doesn't come back from the edge of the map.

why use frigates if you can use SOTL

Hello Sydney and welcome to my channel. Each ships has different stats and different strengths. Because SOTL carry much more firepower it's better to keep them in one piece and shooting. Frigates are there to draw enemy fire and even if they sink they are much cheaper to replace.

Defeating them does nothing for you at all. Don't bother, you get nothing from the victory.

How so? You chase them off their islands. They can't bother you, and all you need to do is to destroy them from time to time when they come back to try and resettle the island?
