Beerus is still leagues ahead of Goku at this point. Goku's UI might make it more of a challenge but in the end......Beerus can and will outlast Goku's UI and if he (Goku) could make it last......he still would not be untouchable.

This so far has had fantastic writing. Vegetas training is directly mixing with granolas story. It’s about the sins of the saiyans past, and granola is set to avenge those sins This will be a vegeta arc, it has to be. The point of this is so that vegeta can come to peace about his sins in the past, before he is confronted by granola about them.

Vegeta going to Whis to train him, going to Yardrat and training under a master far weaker than him, and now asking Beerus himself to teach him, all sounds like steps towards his 'rebirth,' if you will. He has already let go of his pride (at least a little bit) and learned how to accept help from others to gain strength, something he never did in _Z._ Now he needs to let go of his guilt to become even more powerful. I really like how Toyotaro is treating Vegeta. Can't wait to see what's next.

This is amazing. The thing that sticks out to me the most is that Beerus basically wants Vegeta to start from scratch and give up all we’ve known from him thus far. He’s built his strength on his heritage and pride of the Saiyans and to go further he has to almost give that up. This is damn beautiful and I’m engrossed. Vegeta said that he’d never “throw away who he is” to obtain anything; and now here he is, in the face of Beerus’ words, with his own now staring back at him. Will he look into the Abyss and blink, or will he throw away to obtain? Man... In spite of the frustration of seeing Vegeta get torn apart so easily at this point, the witnessing of the development in his character is really something far more than Goku’s. That’s enough to redeem everything else...
