Also possible tornado in Crystal River in Citrus County. Roads and schools closed because of damage. We just finished our 3rd warning this morning.

@@painkillerjones6232Hurricanes bring them in their bands as they cross over. Typically aren’t that strong as the midwest tornadoes but we get water spouts quite a bit. Not too often you see a water spout turn into a tornado as they usually just dissipate when coming onto land. Cheers from Sarasota, just 45 mins south of Tampa. Had the storm that was dropping the tornadoes go right over our house last night, was all calm then next thing it was pouring and tree branches flying away. Then another 15 minutes, silence.

This is very serious I am four to five hours away from there in Pembroke Pines , Broward County , Florida . During Ian in 2022 there were five tornadoes that happened around the area where we live including North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines fifteen mins from where I am staying , we were lucky where we are we were in the middle of the area where the tornado hit . Frightening to know that five tornadoes happened very near us and we were luckily missed .
