This German Thrash outfit celebrates 40 years in the business this year - almost as long as I've been enjoying Metal - but this is the first time I've heard them! You're never too old to recruit a fan or become one. Now THIS everybody, is what Metal should sound like!! As much as I enjoy many variant subgenres, I always after a while want to "come home", and hear a headbanging killer riff, an awesome lead break, a rhythm section that knows its place and experience some proper wrath and darkness. So this of course ticks all my boxes! As a bonus the production is absolutely top notch. It's a must-download for metalheads. My Score: Very Good 4*

I’ve been a long time fan of Destruction. I loved Mike, so no disrespect to him at all, but I like the turn this band’s taking with two guitarists. This might be my favorite album since Metal discharged (I know it’s not a popular pick, but I do love this album). Schmier has always been and will always be one of the best frontman out there.
