Rain of fire helps on single target not in dps but in burning ember regen. More burning embers equals more chaos bolts. You should however be careful as rain of fire cost a lot of mana thus if you use it 100% of the time you will run out of mana very quickly. I use the rain of fire spell when I know I will not be at max embers for my dark soul cd. It also helps at the begging of a fight and during blood lust.

Good vid, very clean. Could you possibly tell me the addons your using, in particular your cast bar, the timer for you dots on mobs, the thing that counts your embers and the mid left one? sorry if its alot but many thanks this helped me out!

So am I right in thinking that on single target keeping rain of fire up as much as possible isn't worth using as a dps increase only on aoe?
