It was a crazy storm for sure. The areas along the Androscoggin River got hit hard. It's amazing how destructive water is.

They are doing well. We are expecting some snow tomorrow and more on Tuesday. It feels so cold without the snow insulation. Temps look all over the place so who know if it will stay around though. Take care

So what did you like best about the turkeys vs the chickens? We are looking into other animals for our homestead. So far, we just have chickens, cats and worms lol

I loved having my turkeys. I thought they would help with predators on the homestead. I think they did. Being a bigger bird in the yard seemed like it deterred attacks. Ariel is where most attacks happen here. They were fun to watch and got along with the chickens well. Downside is their poop is yucky stinky and of course bigger than the chickens. Scott was not a fan of them because of that. I hope that helps and having worms is a great source for your garden. I think that’s great!😊
