I have an ms170, I've been cutting at least 8 ton of eucalyptus a year for last 7 years, a lot of dirty wood and charcoal wood from back burning and I cant kill it, only had one new bar in that time. I have a ms251 as well I barely use it as the 170 gets most of the work done first.

I never understood how someone wanting to get into old school historical firearms would buy an inline, why. They're so simple and accurate out of the box, it's amazing. I'm not some range rat guy, my first shot ever with my Renegade: "bullseye nine O clock", the spotter at the range yells out in front of this small crowd that gathered to watch it.

I have this exact tractor (mines a 2015 year model). Only difference is mine doesn’t have the quick attach bucket. It gets used on my tree farm and other than changing a battery and maintenance I haven’t had a lick of trouble with it. The torque for such a small tractor is outstanding!

I have a 261 and a 462. Love em both! To elaborate the 261 is great for most things, but if I have to get through a lot of wood and larger trees, the 462 just eats. With a 28” bar I stand and buck like Billy, and it saves my back. Especially on the larger logs that slow the 261 down a little.

Shop has both models in-stock should I go mtronic or non-mtronic? Same price.
@WhiskeynSunshineOffGrid19 күн бұрын
That depends on you. I was in the same situation, and chose the Mtronic. This is far from my first saw, and I know how to adjust a carburetor too, but I guess I was curious. I wouldn’t be afraid of either one. My shop told me that if you do have a problem with the Mtronic, it usually happens pretty quickly, and is covered by warranty. I’ve had zero issues with mine.

Whiskey, you got a nice truck and some great saws. You can not beat STIHL. You mentioned back pain. IT is real simple, exercise and eat clean every day. Watch some of our videos and start eating clean. Skip the bread and no sausages or high fat meats. Cook from scratch. No frozen dinners. No frozen foods. Eat more fruit and vegetables. Watch the videos.

I’m worried my oils gone bad, I used olive oil (a good one) I’ve had it for over a year, there’s a white sediment at the bottom but oils not rancid, will it make me sick? Is it bad? Should I just pour off the good oil and chuck the residue? Thanks in advance
@WhiskeynSunshineOffGridАй бұрын
Has is been in the fridge, or left out at room temperature? We’ve never used olive oil. One of the main reasons we use coconut oil, is that it’s very stable. I know very little about infused olive oil.

Problem with this method is that the garlic will turn blue or green, and will need to be rinsed before using it.

Still work good after a few more years?
@WhiskeynSunshineOffGridАй бұрын
Yes, but it doesn’t get used that often. Given the choice between that and my MS261, the 261 usually wins out. Really depends on the task at hand.

I own an MS 170 and its a great saw, no issues. Keep it sharp and it will cut 90 % of the wood any homeowner will need. I have cut down 20" spruce and pine and birch with no issues. I cut all my firewood with it. And its lightweight and its inexpensive

Could you put a shorter more robust bar with a more robust chain on the 180? I've seen where some people have and what are the problems with doing that?
@WhiskeynSunshineOffGridАй бұрын
You can put use the heavier chain, but I think I’d go with a shorter bar. I’ve seen many. The new chain that they’re putting on the “lite” bars would be about the best option, if you go larger. I’d just get the 14” bar. It may work on a 16”, but I’ve never done, or seen it personally.
@timothymongold2381Ай бұрын
The Stihl dealer told me i couldn't without changing the sprocket because of the pitch, but I heard you could without a new sprocket as long as you have the right bar with the same pitch.

You kinda need the psychoactive component in order to achieve the entourage effect in my personal opinion it’s important to have all of the components of the plant for the medicinal benefits ❤
@tuberocker69Ай бұрын
Well, I did the thing, yesterday, and brought one of these beauties home with me. It had a 20" inch bar on it at the dealer and I made them put an 18" on it. My skill level isn't going to put me into much big timber, so the 261 paired with my little 170 seems to be perfect. Hope you have a great day, brother!

Loved the review! As a home owner living in the woods, I needed a small chain saw to cut small wood for my outdoor fire pit... about one or two days work once a year. This being my first brand new chainsaw (yeah, I made the mistake of buying used chainsaws and had nothing but trouble), your review confirmed what I thought after watching many other brands on youtube. I appreciate your honest opinion on this model. Thank you for taking the time to do this!

I found a few websites saying that for CBD you need to cook it for an hour in the oven at 290° and that just infusing it in the oil it doesn't get hot enough deal with that with what you will I've got mine baking in the oven at 290 right now

Did you figure out if you need to decarboxylate the CBD plants? I know why I have to decarb my THC plants, I’m not sure about just CBD plants though. It’s to turn THC-A into THC for ingesting is why we decarb them. Not sure if needed for CBD though since no THC, or very little THC. I’m curious myself now
