When they played back the comment, I never heard anyone accuse Envy's wife of being there "just for the money." All he said was that she likes the paycheck. And, I'm sure she does, which makes it true. Envy seems to be more upset that his wife put him on blast the way she did, and he's taking it out on people who are reacting to it.
