Yes you need to hit both to record internal and external.

hey! i just got this monitor. it records fine but it will not reproduce whats been recorded internally to another monitor via de hdmi output. maybe mine is not working well. connected it to a larger monitor to view what it had recorded but it will not work. it will jus show the footage on its own Screen not in the one connected via HDMI can you help me?

This monitor does not have a rotating image and it does not have a slot for a bolt 1/4 or 3/8 on top. All this makes it very difficult to attach the monitor to the stabilizer (I have Ronin RS3 mini).

Nisiquiera en la pagina encontré como graba, si graba a 10 bits o 8 bits si saca los 4:2:2 o 4:2:0 de subsampling?? No se por que nadie dice esos specs, de la grabación, es. Imprescindible para comprarlo como grabador.

No comparison with the atomos ninja V, which can record pro res raw 12 bits for 500 dlrs. the quality of the codecs in this monitor is nowhere near of those of the Atomos for only a couple of hundred dollars of difference.
