Confused about detached spirit … so what do we pray with ? Body? Or soul? I am confused … I think we pray with the spirit … we entrust our spirit to the Lord… we detach from material possessions including body

We have 3 enemies; the world, the devil and the flesh. A detached spirit is completely free from all the vanities of this world. U can do that by constant mortification and fasting and through penance (daily rosary, weekly confession and frequent communion). You pray with your heart not with your mouth nor with your mind nor with you body but by your heart. That is how to die to yourself so you can make room for God and our brothers and sisters. You have to forget about yourself this is called true detachment.
