I just got mine used with only 19000. Yes its 2024. Only thing I dislike is 3rd row overhead light. It's only accessible if back tailgate opens.

My wife has had her Palisade for 9 months now. She absolutely loves it. The wind noise issue from the passenger front door has been looked at and Hyundai has a fix for it. We have 5 yr old twins, which fit very comfortable in the second row captain chairs. Lots of useful tech comes with this vehicle. I’m very curious (not concerned) about the reliability, only time will tell, but it’s hard to beat the warranty Hyundai offers.

I prefer the Hyundai- they're just a bit better mechanically, and reliability-wise. I think the finishes are a bit nicer as well. Great job on the review buddy.

I’m not a fan of the Range Rover which is what the Telluride reminds me of. Plus the name. Telluride? What is that? The 2021 Palisade Calligraphy is even a step up from the limited. And the Calligraphy grill is massive looking giving it a much more expensive appearance. My 2021 Calligraphy is due for delivery in 2-3 weeks. I can’t wait!

Do you have lots of wind noise and road noise going 70 mph? Some reviews and customers complain about wind and road noise on driver side.

I do not. This seemed to be a problem with earlier builds (mine was a late fall). There is a TSB out on remedies for the ones that had the issue. I’ve been 75 mph into a headwind - no issues. The truck not perfect - I don’t any are but it’s darn close. I got used to the push button shifter easily, the non retracting mirrors I don’t care about etc. Great wArranty plus a few dealers will sell you the extended warranty at a decent price. I saved $5 k over the highlander I was considering- and it’s a 60k equipped truck I think

The Telluride mostly sold over MSRP. The cold temperature statement about the dashboard is a little creepy. I noticed that younger people preferred the Telluride and older people preferred the Palisade. Your review is always good, clear and thorough.

Excellent review Sir!! I am with you as far as picking the Telluride over this. But the Palisade blows the Pilot and others out of the water. The Pilot is way more expensive and not near as nice and roomy. The Telluride is made in the USA, another thing going for it!

Even though these hyundai's have smaller motors. I have found that my 2013 santa fe sport pulls well even with five people in the vehicle. Loved the video. Great work

Hey man thanks for this review. I really like the Telluride/Palisade vehicles. Most people prefer the look of the Telluride over the Palisade but I'm gonna be the oddball. I really like how bold & different the Palisade looks from other cuv's. And i prefer the luxury style of the Palisade over the more ruggedness of the Telluride. But I do think the Telluride is a very attractive vehicle! Keep doin the awesome job you're doin man!

Just a small point - the spare tire is under the vehicle and you lower it from the floor trunk in the back. Got ours last year and are loving it. The driving aids rule for long trips.

Lack of power folding mirrors is a bummer. It's useful in tight parking spots especially for a big car. Can't understand why they didn't include it at this price point.

Vimal Ramachandran living in Canada where waking up in the morning with your car covered in snow and ice is a very common thing from November to April. I would be worried about those folding mirrors being stuck in ice and breaking when starting the vehicle. It’s a nice feature, but it actually would be a reason why I would choose the Palisade instead.

Great Review! Recently purchased a 2022 Palisade Calligraphy AWD; there are still some areas for product improvement: add power folding exterior side mirrors, add sunglass holder in interior and add illumination for the overhead light buttons above driver and front passenger (the POI buttons are illuminated but the light buttons aren't, that's odd and an omission in form/function) and those rims on calligraphy trim are a bit 'loud', design something more classy the ones on current and previous Limited trim); and last but not least, consider adding hybrid powertrain as is offered on many other Hyundai products.

A tad too big for me but i love the look and the value you get . I prefer a two row midsize for my needs. Kia / Hyundai are on my list for future SUVs in 2 years. Don't overlook these two brands.

Excellent review, my friend. One comment. The absence of adaptive headlights (i.e. swiveling headlights in turns) on both the Palisade and Telluride was a surprise to me, especially since my KIA Sorento offers them. It appears it's the result of their vertically stacked headlights of each vehicle. The KIA Sorento, for example has horizontally arranged lights and the outer lights on each side swiveling to illuminate a turn. It's a very nice feature. In the larger Palisade or Telluride, however, it would significantly reduce the illumination straight ahead if the entire low beam followed the path of the front wheels.

I’m pretty after all the hours I’ve spent watching reviews of so many vehicles that I’ve narrowed it down to the palisade. Now I just need to decide on a loaded sel or to spend the extra and go all out with the limited. What’s your opinion on the HK premium sound system? That’s the one major thing I was hoping to get on a loaded sel as well as the ventilated seats

I’m not sure how the lower system sounds on the SEL though. That’s a bummer about the seats only being in the Limited too. Good luck deciding on which trim!

Big fan of the Large Korean SUV’s Telluride and Palisade here. We love the 2019 Santa Fe’ SEL PLUS, I am still impressed with that Vehicle and all the Lane Keep and Adaptive Cruise Control etc. I wonder if these 2 SUV were for sale when we bought the Santa Fe’ if we would of bought one. Probably not because I like to make deals when I make a purchase and these are selling at or above suggested retail. I think I will make a trip down Nolan and we can Meet for BBQ. Only a 26 hour drive. ;). LOLOL Bummer no sun glass holder. PS Below freezing creaking on a new Leather, plastics normal. I had Many Many new cars that would creak in the super cold.

I fell in love with the Telluride... but as I test drove the Palisade I started to prefer the look of the Hyundai. Anytime I see the Telluride I usually think huh is that a land rover? I don't want my car constantly compared to another. Bought a Limited Palisade and love everything with the exception of the slight wind noise Update: I think my Palisade has that odd oder people are complaining about. Right when I open the door ill get a quick whiff of something. Its not an awful oder but I hear some complaining that its been getting worse.
