Great tour, thanks! As a Ravenclaw, I LOVE it. As you say, it’s clearly been made for Ravenclaws. It looks like a library, observatory and just a general calm and tranquil area for learning. Also I love the true-to-the-books blue and bronze. Also, the blue and white colour palette for some of the higher aspects of the room remind me of the sky and clouds where an eagle might fly. Love it all. Thanks for the video again.

The one little detail that made me extremely happy to see, was the drawing desk with the owlery picture. Because everyone (of course) thinks Ravenclaw is all about knowledge and smart people. BUT this house is about creativity too 😄👍 and this one desk showed that 💙🤎

I would say the Floo Flames are there only for our main character; especially if you are in another house. Lets say you're in Slytherin, well your companion character lets you into the Ravenclaw common room for reasons and then later if you wanted to go back without your companion character you would not be able to access through the entrance only through Floo Flame.

I really like this one, but I've been looking for the "cosy" part of the Ravenclaw common room. I feel like it would be easy to sit by the fire in a chair in the Gryffindor one, whereas I'm not sure it'll work quite as well in this one. Great looking common room though. edit: Actually, I've just looked at the Ravenplace Fireplace video, much cosier than the Gryffindor one :)

This common room has a very classical and celestial feel. As a Ravenclaw I like the astronomical themes and the correct blue and bronze colouring but I was initially a bit disappointed in the lack of coziness. That all went away though when I saw the upstairs room with the domed ceiling and 360 windows. My jaw dropped. By day the views over the castle and surrounding mountains would be insane and by night the room would basically become an observatory. I could see myself settling in one of those armchairs with my feet up on a foot stool staring up at the stars, maybe talking to a friend. I'm also very intrigued to see whether that spiral staircase goes up to a balcony or a smaller tower room.

These common rooms all look amazing and I can't wait to explore them in detail! Regarding the flu flames we have to get around Hogwarts in the game are going to be a purely gameplay device(although they may give us some loose gameplay story to explain them, they won't be considered properly canon imo). In the lore the flu network was never used for travelling around the school, plus the flu network only connected fireplaces(and not all fireplaces were connected), it was never little flames like this. So I think from a story/lore standpoint we can kind of ignore the presence of the flu flame we see in the common rooms, hence why we have students waiting outside from failing at the riddle.

Our common room is the best! I appreciate a lot how cleansed, neat, organized, regal, elegant, refined, modern and Victorian it looks. I honestly feel that it would have been the correct thing to put also a Wizard Chess table on our room like they did with Slytherin, it would have fit Ravenclaw too 🧠.

As a ravenclaw, I love the common room for it sm. I think the ravenclaw common room encourages appreciation for art in all its form, balance and creativity. Gives you that sense of floating with the stars and flying in the wind through one's mind and passion. They nailed it by including things from astrology, music, art, science and literature etc. It makes you want to explore and learn more. I could literally imagine myself reading a good book then putting it down then staring at the star ceiling as if Im stargazing as Im in in deep thoughts. I would really love if the stars glows at night ngl. Its such a perfect place to do and create stuff. Also love the windows, makes me want to just go stand at them as I look out over the landscapes outside. Not sure if its an unpopular opinion but I love that the entrance seems like it's open for everyone (not in game obv but just the concept of it overall). I think being a ravenclaw is also about embracing one's and others personal brand of weirdness. Being open to things and etc. I'm also a firm believer that answers for the riddles in ravenclaw's entrance will be considered right as long as you justify your answer or be creative with it. So I wonder how the gameplay for the entrance will be like since the idea of "riddles" can be quite challenging to implement ngl.

With the flooflame inside, im willing to bet that you could only travel out with the ones in the common rooms but not back in. However going into the common rooms with the floo flames isnt necessarily breaking lore because i remember in Goblet, Sirius was able to put his face in the Gryffindor fireplace to to talk to Harry. It wasnt until Umbridge had every fireplace in Hogwarts disconnected except hers. But i would agree that having the emphasis on the entrances would limit you to only being to travel out of the common rooms via floo network and not back in.

The Ravenclaw common room looks so refreshing, love the fact that it's a massive open area, filled with books and everything just seems so nice and perfectly neat (besides those books of course) Even if the game disappoints with content, i know for a fact i will not be disappointed with the way it looks visually and thats something I am looking forward too the most, just scanning, observing and really taking in all of the beautiful scenery.

i feel like the chests will be something of a community hub, so students can put things in and take them out. either it's somewhere that you can just drop things off if you have spare supplies (for gameplay purposes, this would mean that we can collect spare items like potion ingredients) or it's a drop-off point for lost items.

The chest is seen in multiple locations outside of the common rooms. I believe they will act as a "digital vault" where you can store items into it from any of the chests and access them from any other chest

On the topic of the floo flame, I was thinking they'll be more for communication or passing through/retrieving items. Maybe we're connecting the flame to a particular fireplace and handing someone/retrieving from someone an item from the other side. Let's say the character is given a request to find a collectible, someone outside of the open world map or within, they tell us to send it to them through the floo network to their personal fireplace. We have these dotted around Hogwarts, so if it's getting late and you don't want to sneak past Prefects just to get this to them, you can just do it from your Common Room.

With the fast travel system being flu powder and the books and movies put an emphasis on saying your destination out loud, I think there will be a list of locations that are available to travel to that we can choose from when using the network. When you're in your common room maybe you can only travel to different parts of the castle and certain areas will allow you to go wherever you'd like outside the grounds. They could also make certain locations unavailable to players such as other house common rooms or any other restricted areas until unlocked. Some areas could be unavailable during certain parts of the day, like locations in the castle after dark.

For Gryffindor having so many All House focused things, I wonder if it's because Godric's hat is the sorting hat. And then for Slytherin having a Ravenclaw emblem, their ghosts were part of a tragic 'love' story. One-sided love, at least. I'm pretty sure the floo flames are just a lore-friendly way to explaining fast travel, even though having one in the common room is also lore-breaking. From a gameplay standpoint, it makes sense for the player to have a way to fast travel to their common room, as they would probably have to return there several times throughout the story, so to be able to fast travel to it rather than having to go to the tower every single time makes sense. It just doesn't make sense from a lore standpoint. Unless they bring it into the lore as part of the 'ancient magic' that our character specifically can utilize, or some other reason why we're the only ones able to use it.

I just love, love, love House Ravenclaw and it's common room and I couldn't ask for more as a Ravenclaw member. In the fictional game, just like in my real life, it's all about wisdom, knowledge and organization. Me and my OCD are ecstatic!!... I just wish that House Ravenclaw had a Raven or wise Owl and not an Eagle. A snake for Slytherin is perfect, as a Lion for Gryffindor is as well, or a Griffin would have been great too, but poor Hufflepuff,.... really needed a different House name and a different animal/creature. We also need like 50 more Patronus for a total of 200, even though more, would be even better, A Panther is on the top of my list of Patronuses that need to be added, unless they already have done so? Lastly, I'm very happy, though not as happy as I'd like to be with my sorting results... 1) House: Ravenclaw - Perfect! 2) Patronus: Mastiff.- Not om my top 50 favorite list and not on my top 50 least favorite list either, but somewhere in between. I was hoping for a Panther, Dragon, Raven, Hippogriff, Dolphin or Pegasus, but since this is what I got, this is what I'll roll with. 3) Wand: Spruce wood with a unicorn core 11 ¾" and slightly springy flexibility. - This is the least concerning of the 3 choices, as I can roll with just about any wand chosen for me,... besides, the wand chooses it's wielder. 😎

The chest could just be a model they are reusing. Building every chest and decoration from scratch is a LOT of work. They could just be trying to save time. But if it DOES have a gameplay mechanic, I think it's for item storage, and I think clothes would be stored in a wardrobe that you could use to change in. But I might be completely wrong.

In the end I choose Ravenclaw. I love the common room. It’s the best imo. Here are my opinions on the common rooms: Gryffindor: There’s to much going on. It looks messy and dirty. (Sorry if I sound mean) Hufflepuff: To much light. Not a fan of yellow. Slytherin: It’s cool af. Only problem is that I have a phobia towards snakes and deep waters (ex- pools, lakes, and ocean). Ravenclaw: I love it. Blue is my favorite color (especially darker blues). The room is relaxing and clean with just a little bit of a mess (stack of books). The astrology theme/stuff is nice. Little info on me :) the 2 houses I mainly get are Slytherin and Ravenclaw. I get a little more of Slytherin but I’m super scared of snakes and deep waters💀. Other than that I love the Slytherin aesthetic. In the end I went with Ravenclaw.
