Maruti has upgraded the steel quality of Baleno. The price is increased by 30K to 70K as by Varients. If we talk about Tata Altroz then the best feature is it's Build Quality as Tata Altroz got Five Star Global NCAP Safety Ratings. Tata Altroz also has a 7" Display in it's instrument Cluster.
Both the cars have 1.2 LTR Petrol engine But in Baleno it is 4 Cyls and in Altroz it's 3Cyls. which makes some engine noise differences and Mileage Differences.

One thing I like most about altroz is side indicators which are not embedded in side mirrors...so that in case of any side accident the customer can easily replace cheaper side mirrors without indicator cost

The only thing to hate abt tata is after sales, that too in some places, secondly engine refinement. Rest is all go ahead. Be it drive feedback or high speed stability.

I would pick the altroz (Diesel) if not petrol, over any version of Baleno. Even after 2 years since the launch, altros still remains to be the best looking car in this segment, on the other hand, the 2022 Baleno looks much like the previous varient except for the WRV style tail Lamp. In fact, all the present Tata cars including the EV segment are in another league compared to the Maruti-Suzuki cars. all my friends have maruti cars (Ciaz, Swift, Dzire, Baleno, Bressa etc) so I do know how the suzuki performs.

There is no comparison between these 2 vehicles because Altroz comes with 5 star rating where baleno claims Zero stars. Altroz has 3 different engine options ( naturally aspirated petrol, i-turbo,diesel) where as baleno has only one engine option (vvt). When comes to cost altroz diesel xz is less price than baleno zeta petrol. How come these are rivals ??

@@saikatbasak8459 Its a myth that 3 cylinder engine is less refined than 4 cylinder engine. Even the great performer 1litre Polo and the sedan Skoda Slavia come with 1litre 3 Cylinder Engine. Ofcourse I do accept that Baleno's engine is more refined than altros's Engine, but that has nothing to do with Cylinder count. Remember, even Baleno RS came with 1Liltre Turbo Engine. I would pick the altroz (Diesel) if not petrol, over any version of Baleno.

@@sujupravin4957 it's nota myth. Physically the four cylinder is more symmetrical than the three cylinder. No matter how much you tune the 3 pot, it's not gonna have the capacity and refinement of it. The reason they are offering these turbo 3s is because of cost the effectiveness and nothing else. If cost wasn't an issue then why would any sane person not turbo the 4 cyl.

Comparison is nicely done. Once I was too fan of Alteroz and Tata but I am not suggesting anybody to buy tata product. Their after sell services are pathetic and treatment with their customers is rude. I have Tata Tiago top model. It's my personal recommendation please don't buy tata product because of their quality or looks. Bhai service centre wale rula denge or aansu pochne ke liye napkin bhi nahi denge 😉

Surprisingly Baleno has copied Altroz in Interiors, particularly dashboard. Added just 70kgs weight but no safety rating yet. I think Altroz in facelift version might cover many things that Baleno has edge past. Diesel option of Altroz is still better.

Bolna aasan hai bhai... Engine performance b important hai.. tata ka petrol engine real world mein bahaut bekaar perform karta hai.. 3 cylinder engine age jaldi karega... Vfm mein to Baleno hi hai .. no doubt safety rating nahi hai par pichli wali se zyada hi score karegi.. agar 3 star b aate hain to enough hain.. plus tata ki after sales service ka jawab nahi hai .. jab lene jaoge, test karoge tab pata chalega..

Bro curb weight of new Baleno is 100kg lighter than Altroz and that shows the build quality. Infact curb weight of Tiago is better than new Baleno. Bhai They are still planning to work on the better platform and more solid material. I totally agree in terms of features Baleno is further. But in terms of safety and build quality it still can't compete the Altroz. Its already in news that this is just and update of facelift, some interiors and some wheel related changes. No more changes in build quality or in platform.

Altro, because it's diesel engine can produce power more than bolero Neo and premium interior , more space and main thing safety and cheap price , altroz normal petrol engine can produce power more than venue , but if we want normal petrol engine of altroz, we can buy Tiago or tigor because the normal petrol engine of altroz is inspired from Tiago
