Dam you mad that look so easy. I've tried this is the past it's not easy 🤦🏻‍♂️ gave myself a super high fade in April with a 1 1/2 and I def was going for a 2.5 and a mid fade but I messed up got frustrated and went with the 1.5 my wife was pissed there was hair everywhere lol . Taper fade is really hard. Especially blending highest length into the top (I mean fade in general is not easy.) Overtime I learned how to easily detect what hair length corresponds to which guard, so I guess YOU WILL DEFINITELY get better by practicing. One most important thing when I fade is the lighting. It is so much better when I cut my hair under sun light or during the daytime. Keep up bro!
