Here I would like to share a lap guide at Interlagos with the Gr.3 cars on RM tyres, where I also try to explain as much as possible.

I'd say it depends. If it's a daily race then no need. But if it's another lap guide, time trial, qualifying lap, etc. then yea use this kind of thumbnail

I didn’t realise that the physics change had affected the racing lines this much! Super valuable. As for the thumbnail.. Yeah it’s been interesting for sure. Not only that, but as you can’t even have one tyre on the “off-track” anymore (due to your tyre losing grip), you have to use a different line for certain tracks too (such as Grand Valley). I think so too 🤔 Thanks mate and I appreciate that a lot! 👊🙌

Great guide, very much appreciated. Ive been running tt laps for a few days now and this guide is the perfect compliment to the seat time figuring out all the corners. @@HizalMikail As someone who's still on controller and keeps getting ranked at around 3000th, you are on several levels above. So much that i didn't even notice your "error" I agree the R8 is a good car, the rear end can be a bit hard to keep stable though, especially on low speed corner exits. No idea how you manage it consistently. But i agree with Steve (Super GT) - you are the best at this. Others can argue what they want, but to me you are the best at this game, no dispute. I wish you well and looking forward to more content

I noticed post physics update the MR cars like a forward brake balance (I use -2 on the Porsche for example). This helps tremendously.

@ it really depends on the combo though how good the controller might be compared to the wheel. Mostly on circuits where you have lots of high speed corners or if you drive a fast car (such as a gr.2, gr.1 etc car), then you will notice the differences that you are not able to take these corners the same way as the wheel unfortunately. Thanks a lot mate! 👊🙌 I appreciate that a lot! Nevertheless I will still try to do some guides with a controller though but please don’t expect highly from me 😅

Good video , I'm on a 32.0 in the Porsche but only had a few laps last night. Gets me starting near the front of the b lobbies. Tried the 650s but too slow on the straights

Thanks Tam and that’s a good time you have set there! 💪 The Porsche might be one of the easier cars to drive around this circuit here. You could also try out the NSX if you want to 👍

Hey Pawe! Thank you so much and I appreciate that a lot! 🙌👊 It’s actually a long story how I started doing simracing all the way back then but I tried to improve my driving by myself. On the same time though I also seeked the help of my fellow teammates from Team Redline who I used to race with together (such as practicing together, analysing our driving, etc.) It took me a long time to get to that level I am right now but nevertheless I still have to practice for races I would like to compete in hehe

After patch 1.55 the R8 became quite understeery so watch out for that. If you would like to try out an easier car to drive with, I can recommend trying out the Huracan (it was the fastest MR car for me here after the update)

Players who finished ahead of might have had less DR points. If you finish behind someone who has less DR points, your own points will reduce

Usually it depends on what the average driver rating of that lobby was. For example if my driver rating is at around 80-90k but I am racing against A level rated driver and finish at P2 or P3 even, there’s a chance of me losing DR in the end instead. The higher the average DR of that lobby is, the better

There are few important things if you try to be quicker: - braking later - carrying as much momentum as you can (this is essential for the low speed corners) - accelerating as early as you can Then it also depends on how smooth you are in general but I am sure you can get quicker in the end so keep pushing 💪
