Almost 1000 fpm a bit slow for that rise but love the Mitsubishi chimes and build quality
@liftsinireland5 жыл бұрын
In my opinion, 5m/s is a little slow for 50 floors. But, it makes up for that with its build quality.
@benolifts5 жыл бұрын
6 or 7m/s would have been even better

This building seems to have tall ceilings which might have made 5m/s a little slow.

It sounds like this has the reversed Mitsubishi chime (i.e. up chime) for both directions. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I didn’t seem to hear the standard Mitsubishi chime at all in this video.

Me and my friend are going to try and surf a 6m/s 2024 MX32. No cameras in the hallways, overall very light security. Only 38 floors tho, but it would be EPIC.

I have seen lots of Mitsubishi Lifts and escalators in Dubai last month. All the Metro Lifts and most escalators are Mitsubishi (or Shanghai Mitsubishi) there.

This lift gives Otis a run for their money😄. You know what they say, all the best stuff is made in japan. This level of perfection is hard to match, maybe only by Schindler and Kone these days. That’s what I love about Mitsubitshi, every little detail is just perfect. This lift is as fast as a samurai and as gentle as a geisha girl😇. What makes japanese lifts so good and Otis so crap? It’s eye for detail and uncompromized design and engineering ethos.

you found a bullet lift. cartop is built like a tank.
You don't know what you're talking about. It is not "over-engineered", it's *well-engineered.* Like you'd expect from a reputable manufacturer.
@benolifts5 жыл бұрын
I have been surfing these things for years now, so you will find that do know what I am talking about. There are no other modern day companies that build lifts like this. Schindler and Kone come close, but nobody else builds lifts this good, other companies did in the past, but not any more. It is over engineered compared to its rivals, but all lifts should be engineered to this level of quality. Most lifts nowadays are utter crap. Schindler 3300s are painfully cheap, and 5500s are medium (despite Schindler advertising them as premium). But Schindler 7000 is very nice. Otis gen2s are nasty things and are used for mid rise which is horrid, and Otis high rise simply can't compete with its rivals. Kones cheapest ecodiscs are rather cheap, but the better models are very nice. ThyssenKrupp MRLs are cheap and very fault prone. And thyssenKrupp medium and high rise are ok but not as good as they could be. Generics lifts are bad, but have improved a lot recently, but dumb engineers don't set them up correctly. Mitsubishi is simply the only company that always build good lifts.
