Oh this was a random room in the basement of someones house and across the hallway there was 2 private bathrooms one had a toilet/sink and the other a tiny shower stall. But it was in a public hallway so all the other neighbors walked by our doors to access the garage and laundry, All of the utilities and internet were included and we had a driveway parking space. We've since moved to a house. My advice to people is to live alternatively if you want to reach your goals (like home ownership). Because the way these apartments nickel and dime everyone, there's a lack of affordable housing to acquire and people are not even getting appropriate raises therefore making it hard to find a decent place to live is so evil.

How is it living in a house with other people (if that’s the case)? Does it get loud with them watching tv or anything? Do they ever knock on your door?
@JaciniaPerez2 жыл бұрын
Honestly, it feels like Hey Arnold up in here sometimes. Right outside my door there is a shared hallway and our bathroom is split up into two rooms (one has the shower, the other has the toilet and sink) and you can definitely hear them when they're walking by. We have one neighbor on our floor we can hear her slide her closet door, slam her door when leaving or coming, we can hear her in the bathroom. If we don't have our fan on (which we always try to we can hear her laughing, sneezing, coughing, singing, playing her guitar, lots of things. BUT we really like our fan on lol. Then our landlord lives above us with 2 cats. She stomps really hard and wears shoes in the house but does it from like 10-1 at night and is pretty quiet all day with the exception of slamming her vacuum. We can hear her cats jumping off furniture and running. Then above her we can hear the neighbors dogs barking and even stomping their feet occasionally. Generally slamming of doors and running up and down the stairs and we also smell peoples food, cigarettes, and weed. As far as knocking on the door. Our immediate neighbor was mourning recently and her friend knocked on our door to apologize and explain what happened and we left to the park to give her privacy. Our neighbor with the dogs knocked on our door 2-3 times for conversation (this makes me nervous because it breaks my fake bubble of privacy). But we usually talk to him when he comes down to wash clothes so that knocking is an extension of conversation. Overall, I do not like living with other people because I value QUIET like SILENCE so much and I have misophonia so I get triggered by banging (feet mostly) it send like heat and tension through my heart and I get negative thoughts. I'm working on it. I also value privacy because there's freedom in privacy (to sing horribly and untrained, to play music loud and dance, to be ill at night like nausea (I get nervous to even be nauseous here or menstruate), to walk in the house with just a t shirt and panties, to sleep on my terms and not other peoples, so many factors I don't like about renting. Overall, I'm grateful to be where I am and it's taught me so much. Thank you for these introspective questions. It was like late night shadow work.

Why are you guys living in a bedroom/micro space? Is this in your parents home? Is it rental space?
@JaciniaPerez Жыл бұрын
Hi Bianca. We ended up buying our first home with all of the money we saved living here. This is my husbands friends house and we initially rented out her studio apartment (I have that tour on my channel as well). After that we lived in her driveway in a van that we built because I had severe homebound agoraphobia and felt that was the only way I could do exposure therapy and heal. The van kept breaking down which made aspects of the anxiety disorder worse as you can imagine so we sold the van. There was this small vacant room off of the studio apartment that we initially rented and we asked our landlord if we can paint it and lay new flooring down and a light fixture and she said yes and we lived there from November 2019 until the end of August 2022. Hopefully this makes sense. And yes rent was $300 usd everything included, even cable and internet for this room.

Ohhh snap. I really shouldn't, ever since my mentor moved over 3 years ago it's hard for me to study on my own. I find myself more interested in eradicating depression and anxiety, reading books on that. But shooo if you have an idea for spirituality...THANK YOU!

This didn't fully translate to english but I think you don't like the music? I have a new tour coming out in an hour that has no music so you can check that out.

we scoop it and move on. No soiled litter remains in this home.

@@JaciniaPerez ye but still.. I had a cat myself. Know how it would smell and i had a closed litterbox.. Even when you scoop it out. There s pee as well... And just the sanddust particles of the litterbox and all the bacteria it comes with close to food...

@@Roxjetlagged I'm convinced you're a clay litter user. You should switch over to pine litter. We don't have these problems.

Where are the clothes, shoes, toiletries, and other essentials???
@JaciniaPerez2 жыл бұрын
Hi Bella. Our clothes are in a public hallway shared by other tenants in an ikea armoire. Our toiletries are in a private bathroom across the public hallway. I did a more in depth tour when no one was home because my audience was having a hard time following.

Where are her clothes
@JaciniaPerez2 жыл бұрын
They used to be in cardboard boxes in the closet but I asked if I can put a narrow armoire in the public hallway where a broken chair used to be and the landlord said yes. You can see it in my laundry video. I show where our socks and underwear are and how we organize a his and hers section with shoes included.

@@JaciniaPerez I would be afraid my clothes would be strolling out in the hallway where I live is feeling even a penny from you
@JaciniaPerez2 жыл бұрын
@@cynthialandis4263 LOL yesss Cynthia. So our bathroom is on the other side of that hallway. One bathroom has a shower, the other has a toilet and sink. The shower bathroom door doesn't close and people walk by all the time to wash clothes and I used to be so uncomfortable because it feels too public but I trust all the current tenants.
