The question about why U doing a series connection should be best answer by saying, it best to work on a higher voltage than a current.

Very interesting. Slightly different from the metal roof clamps and rails I have. Not sure why using 10mm solar cables cos all panels in series and so the voltage should be under 1000V at most. 4mm and 6mm are fine unless you do parallel.

There are different types of charge controllers: •PWM (Pulse Width Modulation): These controllers reduce the voltage by chopping it down to the level that the battery can safely handle, effectively wasting some of the energy. • MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking): These controllers are more efficient as they adjust the input voltage and current to optimize the power going to the battery. They convert excess voltage into additional current, ensuring more efficient charging without wasting energy. In summary, an MPPT charge controller can convert excess voltage from the solar panels into additional current for the battery, making it more efficient than a PWM charge controller.

Nice job but I believe a breaker should be for AC input not voltage regulator... And a breaker also (RCBO) should be for the AC output to protect electric shock and more in the house... The voltage regulator will be in between the two breakers.

What the breaker does is to break(open) when a current higher than it rating is detected. Meanwhile, what you called a voltage regulator is actually a Voltage and Amperage protector, which encompasses the function of a MCB.

I am thinking one for A.c input and another for D.c input I mean the cable coming form the panels. but the two SPDs look like an A.c SPDs

@@nelsonerico9203 Yes, it's Hybrid. The AC surge for AC input, the DC Surge of DC Input, that's the PV.
