I would say you guys have tried very well, but you need to improve in safety, then work on trunking with set square, fix inverter first so that you can have a full view of the breaker box positioning. Well done guys.

In the installation of the panel what of slippy roof top how do you cope
@Brooslinks4 ай бұрын
@@igokskelvin5649 depending on the slope of the rooftop, you have to get scaffold first, get a ladder, put your profile from edge were you can reach so that it will serve as your standbase screw it firmly and then step on it to put the second step, you can go on and on like that. But be very careful, if you are not comfortable doing that, find a space and mount it eg carport

Very interesting. Slightly different from the metal roof clamps and rails I have. Not sure why using 10mm solar cables cos all panels in series and so the voltage should be under 1000V at most. 4mm and 6mm are fine unless you do parallel.

You are correct, just for safety. Thanks.

The question about why U doing a series connection should be best answer by saying, it best to work on a higher voltage than a current.

Please clarify where you said the charge controller will convert excess voltage to current
@thetrillsconsulting40816 ай бұрын
There are different types of charge controllers: •PWM (Pulse Width Modulation): These controllers reduce the voltage by chopping it down to the level that the battery can safely handle, effectively wasting some of the energy. • MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking): These controllers are more efficient as they adjust the input voltage and current to optimize the power going to the battery. They convert excess voltage into additional current, ensuring more efficient charging without wasting energy. In summary, an MPPT charge controller can convert excess voltage from the solar panels into additional current for the battery, making it more efficient than a PWM charge controller.

I am thinking one for A.c input and another for D.c input I mean the cable coming form the panels. but the two SPDs look like an A.c SPDs

The Inverter and controller
@nelsonerico92036 ай бұрын
Okay but the inverter is hybrid and per the video you didn't tell us there is charge control among the connection Or?
@thetrillsconsulting40816 ай бұрын
@@nelsonerico9203 Yes, it's Hybrid. The AC surge for AC input, the DC Surge of DC Input, that's the PV.
@oluwafemijohn27486 ай бұрын
Nice job but I believe a breaker should be for AC input not voltage regulator... And a breaker also (RCBO) should be for the AC output to protect electric shock and more in the house... The voltage regulator will be in between the two breakers.
@thetrillsconsulting40816 ай бұрын
What the breaker does is to break(open) when a current higher than it rating is detected. Meanwhile, what you called a voltage regulator is actually a Voltage and Amperage protector, which encompasses the function of a MCB.

@thetrillsconsulting40813 ай бұрын
@egwumichealu6494 it can power 2HP submersible pump preferably during the day and 1.5HP inverter AC consecutively. For ironing you are advised to use inverter iron (300). For water heater, 1000W water heater is okay during suntime (only the water heater should be powered).

Your dc cable size is too much, 2.5mm cable would have be good but for the purpose of efficiency 4mm is okay but using 10mm dc cable there will be lost of pv charge from the arrays
@Levi-k6p2 ай бұрын
You can't have losses by increasing cable cross sectional area.
