The aux connection port is in the glovebox at the top. Weird that ford put it there

Did you try to plug the modified wiring harness into the 2005 head unit to see if it would work?

Ok I did this but when I push the aux button it says no aux audio?

That head unit must have come from a vehicle that did not have an AUX IN Jack. Did you make sure the vehicle the head unit came from actually had an AUX input somewhere? The head units seem to be programmed based on the options the vehicle was ordered with.

@@billyb351 I guess so, it should need to program to open the Aux input function, I watched your video and tried to add a Bluetooth Receiver but I failed at the end, the Bluetooth worked and connected with my smartphone already but showed NO Aux Audio. no choice, I gave up at the end. But I feel curious that someone is selling the same unit (same unit model number) with upgrading Bluetooth at eBay, how they make it?

My stereo has an auxiliary line but it has a name on it when I connect my phone and it states “Chrystl-line”. How can I change the name?

Why go thru all this? Just save up $500.00 buy a brand new ALPINE HEAD unit,it's go everything and is blue tooth compatable. Spend your time relaxing or fishing ect.

@@michaelbloom5342 money is only one reason, the main reason is I don't want to rewire the harness, I tried to add a Bluetooth Receiver but I failed at the end. so sad !

why spend $500 on a head unit? Just save up a couple million $ & buy a private jet that has a built in sound system😆
