@uncleflaco Hmmm. As I recall the Ford Explorer was also recalled because the cruise control would go nuts and start accelerating and not slow down until you put the car in neutral and turned off the engine. I know this because I was in one that had the problem. While I would normally be on your side I suggest you check your facts next time.

Prius: Whats up with no plug in and no lipo battery upgrades, I am expecting these two primary upgrades for the 2010 model year. Other than that it is just a new less uglier body design on the same old Prius engine.

The front of the car looks great but goddam what happened to the back? It's a mess. The ass is way too fat and makes the back wheel look tiny and silly. I guess you can still look cool only if you are driving toward someone.

Haha I have enough style to hate this thing lol. I mean look at it. its shaped like hill. Its got the aerodynamic properties of a bus. People only buy them so they can say the drive a prius. Plus how about all the studies saying in the end the battery is gonna do more damage to the environment then it helps.

No thanks I think I'll stick to my Jetta Diesel. As for the difference between BMW smug and Prius smug. BMW smug is just the "I have a BMW so my dick must be bigger then yours" type of smug which is just kind of funny. The Prius smug is that annoying type of "I drive a Prius and am a better person then you " type of smug. So heres a question. Do you drive a Prius?

I'd rather have a VW Polo BlueMotion. Why? Because it's a diesel, it gets an average 74 mpg, it actually looks like car, and not some Citroen DS wannabe (no offense to the DS, which is a great car), and it's quite a bit more affordable than the Prius. And yes, most people who drive Priuses do so because they believe they are doing the environment good, though they have their heads up their asses and are unaware how inefficient and "dirty" the production process of the Prius is.

This comparison is not possible, because one (Prius) is a car made from the beginning to be an hybrid, and the other (VW Bluemotion) is an effective factory made optimisation on emissions control made over a model not made specifically for that. Apart of this, they belong to different segments. You should compare it, if it were possible (but it's not) with the VW Golf Bluemotion (how do you call it there?? Rabbit...)
