Hey, nice video, good ETL but how does this fit into core qliksense? Why would you do this over importing into qvd files? Or can that be added to the flow? So raw data in DM then load QVD with what's needed all in same flows?

Hi d c - thanks - technically to be clear this is not ETL nor should be compared to traditional ETL - this is more like ELT - more information can be found here: www.qlik.com/us/lp/sem/di/etl-vs-elt-vs-change-data-capture-cdc? - this is more directed towards cloud database platforms as targets - thought you can create QVD targets in Qlik Cloud. QVDs at this time cannot be added as a source but - I did not show it in the video - when you create your project - you would select the Qlik Cloud so you can create QVDs as a target - but the sources are your standard RDBMS and cloud based data platforms - to continue the conversation I suggest you check out the forums: community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Cloud-Data-Integration/bd-p/qlik-cloud-data-services-discussions - thanks for your questions - Mike T
