What a wonderful friend you are to Kelly and she often mentions you in her videos with admiration and love. Glad you were there to cheer her on when she was hesitant about her abilities. She's great. You mentioned the "dots" on the petals of the lilies. I looked that up and they don't appear to have a name but this is what I found. "Lily petals often have lines and dots on them. These markings actually serve as a map for insects, leading them to the nectar." Now we know the dots are road maps for insects. How interesting and fun to know. Love your painting of Kelly's stamp!

I didn't know that about the hot pressed paper - not as quickly absorbent and nice for detailed images! The Fabriano extra white (hey folks, its not that white, still kind of a bone color) Artistico is my favorite watercolor paper for stamped images. Your painting looks effortless and the card is BEAUTIFUL! So inspirational!
