Yep, some very good points. One of the things I would add is that higher out the things that you can’t stand to do if you don’t like to balance your books get a bookkeeper the few dollars a month you would spend to have somebody going over your checkbook and making sure that your expenses and monies are in order is going to save you so much money in the future, and if you don’t know where your money is going, then until soon be out of business. That could be said for many positions within accompany the two most important for the owner obviously is the marketing and the Customer Service

How often should you cut or polish the paint on a car for the longest lasting but still good looking clear coat?
@damonarreola11057 ай бұрын
And how do you determine the hardness of the clear coat and why does that matter?
@andrewgibb88466 ай бұрын
I just wrote a huge comment but somehow deleted it. In short: use a new cutting pad with good compound and run your polisher at about 75% full speed three passes four pea shaped drops of compound. See what you’ve removed and go from there. 👍

any tips when hiring detailers and training them
@bassnutter3 ай бұрын
You say about not buying the best tools for the job and then go onto to talk about weekend warrior mentality and say that time is money. If you want to do detailing at a professional level, then you have to face it and buy professional equipment. Sure others will give you results but a home steamer or carpet extractor is not going to provide efficiency or speed like pro level equipment. And also there's the saying "Buy cheap, buy twice".
@DetailGroove2 ай бұрын
I can use a $150 rotary and get the same results as a $400 rotary. I can use a $250 DA polisher and get the same results than a $700 polisher. A $50 soap is no better than a $20 soap. There's $700 polishers that are breaking down while $250 polishers are going strong

Tbh tho it’s one thing to spend 500 for a hobby. But you should not be starting a business with 500 if you really wanna put your best foot forward. Sure you can if you want. You can also try to pet a kangaroo. But is either one a good idea? No

So you have any solution ?? Rather than repeating 'you should not start business with 500'

@@renogunzddragon1900 get a job and save for the correct equipment you need. When I started my mobile detailing business it took about 4k in total. The average person could easily save that in 6-7 months even if you had bills and a family. For someone with less obligations you could save that in 3-4 months easily even if you don’t have a good job. Nothing worth its salt is created over night. When it comes to business the saying buy once cry once is EXTREMELY real. Take the time, do it right, you will succeed 💪🏾

What, my friend, is a “rinse less wash”?

Rinseless wash is only needed when your car is just a bit dirt..if its really dirty.then it needs an apc + soap.
@Sovrakha3 ай бұрын
Rinseless wash is a car washing product and method that is used primarily to cut down on the amount of water you use to rinse the vehicle. Rinseless doesn’t mean no water, it just means no rinsing at the end of the wash. For example: Pre-soak > Rinse > contact wash > dry. This is a standard Rinseless wash procedure. Not something you would do with a typical car soap, because car soap needs to be fully rinsed off. Rinseless wash products usually act as their own drying aid as well.
@Sovrakha3 ай бұрын
@@SunnyS3506 I believe you are thinking of a waterless wash, not necessarily Rinseless. Although if your car is only lightly dusty, you could use Rinseless in the way you described.
