Did you fin any way to fix fire pin roll pin if it start giving me problem on the future, or nah? Thanks 🙏 Any other parts I should be aware if I dry fire the gun a lot and use it for competition/range every weekend.? Should I sell the gun or run it until fire pin stop working due to excessive dry fire.

No I haven't tried it, but I heard good things about it. Any CZ would be a good choice, as they are all very good firearms. I would think that if you have been looking at it, it is that you want it, so get it. The P120 is a good gun, but not very refine. You need to try something different. Go for it.

Cmvb69 - I haven't tried it, but I doubt it it would work. The P120 sear and frame are not meant to accept a decocker.

But can't you replace the sear with a Cz 75 one? It's my understanding it will fit. But you need to drill a hole in a different location for the decocker

Thank you very much. I bought this week a Canik P120 and I would like to replace front and rear sights. I didn't understand if LPA sights for CZ-Sp01 can be fitted or it require a manual adjustment by gunsmith. Can you suggest me which CZ model I need to use as reference to have LPA sights fitable on Canik P120 ? Thanks ............... :-)

@@practicalshooter6517 , I havn't the possibility to check phisically in advance wich LPA sight kit for CZ is suitable for Canik P120. LPA configurator suggest more than one CZ model solution . Could you confirm if this is the right one ? www.lpasights.com/en/products/spr86cz18/. This sight kit is recomanded for CZ models : CZ 75, 75B, 85. Dovetail front sigh version. I did some googling and some measuring, I believe the barrels can be swapped for older CZ75 barrels like those in the 75B, the problem is that the SP01 doesn't use the old standard barrel width, it's barrel is 0.55'', the standard 75 barrels are 0.50'', and these canik clones also use 0.50'' wide barrels, so those just might fit... I've also found a thread where someone successfully fitted a threaded barrel from a CZ75B compact to their C100 pistol which seems to back up my findings, located here: www.ar15.com/forums/handguns/-/37-162519/? So, threaded barrels may not be out of the picture for us, assuming you can find one of the right length... I only seem to be able to find threaded compact barrels and 5'' barrels, but I believe 5.21'' would be required to fit on the full size guns and have have clearance for the threads, the same barrels used in the factory threaded barrel 75B (the 75B has the same 4.7'' unthreaded barrel length as the Canik fullsize guns, so stands to reason they should need the same threaded length) problem is no one sells the 5.21'' barrels by themselves. Best option I can find right now would be to get the 6'' unthreaded barrel from CZCustom and have it cut down to the right length and threaded... That being said I'm not recommending anyone just run out and buy one of those barrels... Try to find someone with a 75B of appropriate size and see if their barrel will fit in your Canik first, just to be sure.

The Cajun Gun Works website will tell you if their upgrades fit your gun. Just searching "Canik" on their site will bring up over a well over a dozen results. Using their "does it fit my gun" will reveal more. I'm talking triggers, hammers, spring kits, sights, grips, pins, etc.

My barrel ramp it’s full of carbon deposit imposible to scrape even with harsh solvent. Maybe some fouling marks. Any suggestions?

Too bad the CZ barrel won't fit in the Canik. CZ makes a .505" diameter barrel and a .550" diameter barrel. From what little I've been able to discern, the latter is for use in the SP01 series. Canik did use the same .550" barrel in their Hawk B6 and polymer B6P. Why they didn't continue to use it in their new models is a mystery to me.
