Nooops thats the problm . When you check the eligibility of JAM they have mentioned the elogibility of MATHS in 12th std for MSc in chemistry from IIT.

For IIT JAM chem Math is compulsory in 12 standard

Maths is compulsory in class 12 for iit jam.... But there are some remedial steps in case you are of non mathematical background... I suggest you to check a video by chem academy institute on the same topic...
