I use slippery elm and it's as awesome as marshmallow root.

Absolutely! it was just 1/4 cup of marshmallow root boiled for 15-20 mins on medium he3at, strained to get the mucilage and then add 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil.

Thank you Sharon Cheery OnTop! I don’t really get single strand knots anymore just tangles. I think regular deep conditioning helps reduce the likelihood of single strand knots forming. Back in the day the advice was to cut them out. I think prevention is better than cure xx
