that time period with no zombies on open lanes is until the next flag. so you could theoretically complete the last flag by defending 1 lane and letting the other lawn mowers go. and defeating the final wave with the last one

this is alsp really useful in the zomboss fight because it doesn't have flags so if you remove all flower pots except the middle ones you can activate those mowers (not with a fireball/iceball!) and all the zombies would spawn in the center

Challenge: Beat a survival mode of your choice without having a plant "die." Shoveling a plant just to move it (but not to prevent it from getting eaten) is okay. Planting over defensive plants to refresh them is okay. Insta-use plants that explode when used are not allowed, but plants that just vanish (like blover) are okay.

10 waves of survival, but every 2 waves you need to use a different "archetype". So you beat first two with mushrooms, next two with peas, next two with catapults. It makes you choose which strategy you want to use for early waves, and make sure you arent left with Insta Use for 9 and 10.

The biggest issue with this challenge is obviously no sun. It would 10x easier with more spikeweeds and the upgraded spikeweed, perhaps even more shrooms too. Cherry bomb would've also been used more often too.

I’ve done this challenge before on survival day hard, only difference was that I used producers like the sunflower and whatever that mushroom was. It was a lot more spikerock focused, and instead of double potato mine, I did double squash. It was really easy.

I used gloomshroom and it was extremely easy after I realized, that I need two puff shrooms in a row to beat the first flag without losses. Also, I didn't use wallnut, instead, I used mimed puff to tank everything. Overall, it was pretty easy with my strat and didn't require me to use any insta and I never replaced a single wallnut/pumpkin (used pumpkins to protect gloom)

Try doing this at pool. Normal mode: Sunflower and lily allowed. You can probably beat this. Hard mode: lily pad allowed but not sunflower: Ehh, IDK about this one chief. So looking at this challenge is quite difficult. I don't think Last Stand Endless is a viable option so you'd probably need to do Shooting Stars on the computer. But essentially Kernel pult = 100 sun 4 of those for a Cob Cannon Cob Cannon also costs 400 So 7 Cob Cannons requires 5600 sun The rate that sun falls is around 10 seconds per sun and you need 224 sun drops to get 5600. This means that you'd need to survive for a minimum of 40 minutes to get that much sun. However you also need to not die so you need to spend sun on plants which means all the numbers are higher.

According to Shyguymask's anti-symmetry pvz challenge, when a lawnmower is activated in a lane the zombies will stop appearing on that lane for a while(which is what allowed him to survive level 1-2 of that challenge); so that's what's happening there.

Challenge idea: On any Survival level, shovel EVERY plant after Flag 4 or 8, depending on if it’s Survival normal or hard, leaving you with nothing but some extra sun for the end of the level. If you want to make it even harder, you can shovel every plant every 1/2 flags, but that’s your decision. Also, love the videos! PvZ 1 is a great game and I’m glad to see people covering it even today.

Here’s a challenge what I like to call The CoD zombies challenge Basically you start out with 4 fighting plants only with their weakest and then upgrade them to their strongest So starting with 4 pea shooters and upgrading them to gattling peas Then replant those 4 plants with something even stronger like the cabbagepult and upgrade to the frozen melonpult The catch is it can only be 4 plants that shoot And to remedy the difficulty use close range plants to act as traps No limit on the amount of sunflowers go crazy And you can use the walnuts or tallnuts as barriers but they have to be placed at the end of the lanes

Challenge: You cannot attack zombies while they are facing you. Instead, use Split Peas to hit zombies from behind. Cant use Star fruits because you can just spam them constantly. If you want to count this plant as well, Jalapeños can hit zombies from behind. But you can’t plant them as zombies are walking from the right of the lawn. Squashes also can work. P.S: You can still use sun producers 🙂
