Your video came up on my feed right now. Over 40 years ago my husband bought me a second wedding band, heavy carved gold, on the occasion of the birth of our first son. A friend came over to babysit and give me a bit of a break. I drove to the beach, sat on the sand for a while, and the ring fell off my hand. I came home and told everyone that I had lost my ring at the beach. Everyone was very sympathetic to me, but I was determined to find that ring so the next day I rented a metal detector and returned to the beach. Everyone told me I was crazy and that I would never find it, etc. etc. Well, I didn’t find it . However, a friendly man with a fancy metal detector came by to find out what I was trying to do (with the world’s crappiest rental metal detector), and within 5 minutes he found my ring, dropped it into the palm of my hand and continued his walk down the beach. I was overwhelmed with gratitude for his kindness to me. When I got home, people were shocked that I had my ring back. I still have that ring and every time I look at it, it reminds me of that story. So Thank you, again, unknown person!

We both cried seeing it, that moving chap had most amazing home cooked meal that weekend with his mrs, he was so chuffed, my mom gave him my dad’s old tools, he was so happy to have it because someone stole all his tools. @@elizabethbennet4791i can definitely see where you're coming from on this but especially with jewelry people never really take off, people can forget that it is something that can very easily be lost. personally, i would never wear anything special to the beach/lake/whatever, but i used to wear my late father's wedding ring. it was so so special to me, but i accidentally knocked it down the sink drain at a la quinta hotel in atlanta.. had to leave for my flight back home that morning and was pretty devastated. i'm honestly still really upset about it and it happened nearly a year ago. def agree about the seahorse though!! so cute!!

Hey thank you for taking that long piece of metal out of the water, the pop tabs etc. That could have gone through someone’s foot easily especially for a kid playing in the shallows. When I vacation on Anna Maria Island the amount of people who just leave kids plastic shovels and other plastic on the sand. I walk and clean up the trash left behind. Everyone has to know how polluted our waters are and how dangerous it is to wildlife. The Gulf is so beautiful and we all need to do our part keeping it that way. Thanks for doing yours and also helping people. I saw a woman lose her 2kt diamond ring in the waves about 20 years ago. A guy had a detector and looked for hours as many of us did. No wind, water super clear but it was gone. You’re a good man and you’ve got a new sub! ❤
