Hello, I am just watching videos from these metal detector professionals and my question is: What is the main motivation for doing this? They spent a lot of time, a lot of money buying expensive equipment to get pull tabs, coins, metal trash, etc. most of the time?. What you get after expending time, money and expectations? What balance the equation?

How do you clean the coin safely?

I’m happy you’re safe. I understand cause I live in Little Harbor well right next to Little Harbor and Ruskin and Shell point was flooded both times so many people lost their homes. Just happy people are safe.

How do you keep everything from falling? I know I’m still new and I got to use my metal detector once but I couldn’t handle it holding everything at the same time. Is there a trick?

Someone lost a full roll of the dimes and the tide\wave action dispersed them.. Perhaps a beach vendor when the high tide didn't reach so far inland.

How about a "still MIA - ones we didn't find?" I guess it would be a short video but maybe it could help reconnect a ring someone else found? My favorite ring is a six band puzzle ring, if you drop it, its a pain to put back together, so I always loop a hair elastic through it and pull it tight, when I take it off to shower. And a hot pink pony tail holder is easy to spot under the bed. LOL
