excellent relics, skeleton key is fantastic. the Victorian flare I believe might be a hair tie. very cool got to love this hobby. as far as the comments go people get uptight with conduct in the field but every one has their own way. digging up history is a privilege and learning it's story an honor. best of luck. cheers Nathan

Thanks Nathan.. I know some people who run around here giving metal detecting a bad name. But when we hunt, we make sure no one gets a negative vibe about the hobby.. I find it amazing when digging in someone's yard that the home owner thanks us for showing them what has been buried there all those years.. Heck a lot of my permissions are from people asking me to detect their yards... Got to love the southern hospitality.

Good video Luke :) The corrosion is like a layer of plaque on an old dogs tooth. Some areas have a little sharp sand and others the ground is more like loam but the one sure thing to find is a lot of red clay. Time to get into the old civil war skirmish areas between us and Athens! There are some fields there all the locals have cannon balls and a lot of old bullets and I've even seen some bayonets. I'll show you the area on the map whenever you want to go. I've always wondered if it's been searched because the people I know found cannon balls just plowing a garden and in their cow fields things show up after heavy rains.

That V Nickel is ruined. You didn't do it. Time and environment did it. You do what works for you and don't feed the protestors!! I didn't say trolls because some people mean well, but 99% the time it is a common coin that will never be worth much more than the cool factor. But I get it why they are concerned, and in their videos I will watch and enjoy them being ginger. But I say, just keep doing what you are doing!
