Great googly moogly! After those finds I bet those good luck tokens would sell like hotcakes! Awesome finds man. I guess if I ever want to find some of the yellow stuff I need to crawl out of the woods and start detecting where people were more numerous.

I had a sterling silver ring very much like that wire wrapped ring you found. I got it at the Ann Arbor Art Fair. I would call them artisan rings. Usually made by local artists and sold at art fairs

I love the tag of "can slaw" lol...it gets old digging those and the gum wrappers also found a bunch of pill capsule packages too but like you say with the Garrett you have to dig all that to find the gold... only found 1 gold ring so far but still working at it

how bigs the sports field? We have a soccer field thats huge!!! anyhow, it is used for carnivals, and various other things before, during n after sport events, school and field plantings. if your in a huge field, it would make sense the Good luck coins may be a carny token.. to use to play games or/and rides. could even be a simple school carnies , ren fairs or ? activities. .. anyhow, GOOD LUCK! The field is old, but can not find much info about it.. I don't think it was used for anything but sports.. Who knows. This hobby always makes me second guess about the history of the ground that I am hunting.. Too much fun! Thanks for watching!!!
