2:04:10 i think i read that you can also input the partial SD codes with all the x‘s exactly as written. I assume this will also count as evidence in your score and as you assumed it could match with her data on some other evidence.

This seems like a great game. I think my mom would like this game she loves detective crime novels. The best thing about it is that the characters appear to be in charge of their own fate, not the game creators.

I don't know anything about the game, but I did notice something from the play through. There were a couple of cards that said something like "come back again for more information". So maybe that is where you did not gain some of the evidence since you never returned to those locations. Obviously, that is just a guess from me. This was a really fun play through.

Also played this scenario as soon as I got back from Gencon with my copy. Got 25/40 final score with all questions answered correctly and 0/12 matching evidence points even though I'd entered 9 pieces of evidence into the DB. So it seems like I missed whatever you guys also missed. Very frustrating.

I played that case few days ago. To get more evidence points you need to examine the gun. Also when you spend more time in the neighborhood you will find more evidence....the most important- killer's fingerprints

Gotcha. Yeah, the fact that it's light and only a single scenario is what interests me. I'd much rather run something like that to introduce a group to the game rather than start the entire campaign only to find that some or all of the other players don't care for this type of game. Let Dave know that I think it's a mistake to read all of Agatha Christie's books. Many of her books are brilliant, but others, primarily those written later in her life, are not very good at all. Either get some recommendations, or read through her books chronologically based on when they were written (not when they were published).

more of a mistake is thinking the mystery novels give all the information....yes they have to by the end BUT as you are reading them more information and red herrings appear as you progress

I wanted to get it out there that some of her works are remarkable and some of them, at least in my opinion, are not. I don't like the idea of someone starting out with one of her not so great books, and forming an opinion based on that.

Yeah, but when you decide to read the complete works of an author like that, you're buying into the ride, seeing their lesser works alongside their greater ones is part of the fun. I read the entire Sherlock Holmes collection in high school, and that really contributed to my ability to understand that authors exist in time and have the same range of success as "normal people" like me.

@@mgk2020 Chronicles of Crime does it that way as well. The game that doesn't have multiple choice options is Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective, but there are no time restraints in that game so you are expected to have discovered everything.

What do you expect in a detective game? 5000 printed pages of names and clues? The app just contains info like a real police database.
