There's a reason why this case is the favorite of so many viewers, it's so tragic with so many suspects, impossible to find the real murderer. And the 1000th episode is a remake of this case.

The case does a really good job at making you feel attached to the culprit because of the time he spends around ran and conan imo. Speaking of that, just for the giggles, took me this rewatch to realize the clever guy here took the liberty to sleep with ran lol

This was a great mystery. It was not a episode of the show but was a one hour tv special in japan then later edited into two episodes in reruns there. Glad they dubbed it for the english dub. The two and three parters have some great mysteries. Funny thing is this aired on cartoon network with part 1 on friday and we had to wait till monday to see the second part!

Well, that intro made me smile. Guess we're getting on an adventure now Will be funny to see how you'll react to the main plot elements And yeah, the dub is good after all I watched the first 150 episodes in french and it was ok, it gives me nostalgia ahah Also yeah, no loop thing Loved your reactions, this case was so sad and well written The doctor said it «Thank you little detective»

it's either cases that involves a lot of suspects, and narrow it down (which is always hard to decipher), or cases where we know the killer but we need more evidence to prove that it is the person responsible. Etiher way, it still some good cases

So, naturally, when my brother introduced me to Detective Conan (I wasn't really into anime before I got married), it was love at first sight :)
