Because 8 times in 22 years (theoretically because you can have felonies that stay on your record after 16 or younger in some places) to accomplish this. Some “prison” sentences for felonies are less than even a year sadly. So unfortunately completely it’s feasible.

@@Fiddyscent not a great choice. Cams, at least my cam, record 3 minute chunks. You don't give the police the entire record, nor do they want it, just the files related to the incident. Other models only retain video when given a voice command to do so, spooling some minutes of footage to volatile memory on a loop, dumping the loop to a file when commanded. But go shead, make a choice that suits you.

Yeah, it would be nice if officers believed in the truth as well. I was told by the officer who pulled me over that I told him I was selling my personal meds. I was able to get the felony charge expunged, but it was expensive. He asked what the pills were for, and I said sleep, so maybe he misheard it as "sale". But I don't think so.

First video. The girl have good accountability parents/role models - they not only heard her story but also told her to stop, relax, let the cops do their job. They did not immediately assume. They gave benefit of the doubt but also allowed the cops to do what they needed to do while also being there to get what information without being rude/belligerent/and playing race card
