I've added fishing weights inside the gripping handle of my own dive shaft. Doing so has helped keep the machine from drift around. I liked your small pop flout with the Bober. 🕶👍

I love Deus and did well with my original Deus but struggling with my Deus 2 on the beach especially. So many people love theirs and are killing it, but I just can’t get mine to run smooth like my old Minelab detectors. I’m sure it’s some settings that I am not adjusting right.

I prefer your water videos overall. I like the narration etc. Well done! ☠️ I'm a senior that's been detecting since 1966. I live on the gulf beach in Florida so I deal with similar conditions to what you show. For this type of detecting I would reccomend you try out a cabron plastic scoop sold as National Geographic brand. It comes with a probe and gold trowel you wont need. This package is very inexpensive. The scoop is indestructible. You can run your coil around it and over it too. This way you save the gloves from wear and can dig as deep as you want. I find rings underwater with my Nox 900 at depths of 20" with this scoop.
@steveallen9842 ай бұрын
I was thinking the same thing about using a scoop like they use while nugget shooting. The only thing is that's another thing to carry. We all have our system and rhythm that we're comfortable with and I'm sure the thought of a scoop has probably crossed his mind and he's used to sweeping with his hand

right on carter////as always, killer hunt; seems as if alot of the area was well sanded in this time.....meaning mostly more recent drops coming up....and no silver coins which always helps date things not sure if this was one of the older spots you go to like in past videos but def nothing vintage this trip but still worthy of the time and effort

This is definitely a newer spot where it's been populated since the seventies. I'll be going in the next few days to the older spots as well. Thanks for watching

Nice vid and finds. Busy is better, made me think they'd be urchins coming into the bag like old days diving. Friends from SE Asia want to know if you ever catch the 1/2 kilo of finned diner swarming. That was a nice school, next class should be pan fried! I'd get harbor cod, cunny, sculpin, pollock all small, and a few flounder as companions while urchin diving. Lobsters everywhere too in the early season, NO TOUCH lob$termen sink your boat if you get caught.

You are one of my favorite underwater detectorist. I have few question so if you have time please answer. 1) How deep you are and what you using for breathing (blue nemo/nomad or something sililar or air tank). 2) Can you compare only for diving Nokta pulse dive and Deus 2? I am not interested for any other features just detectors deep and small targets (love my Pulse dive:)) 3) Any other underwater metal detector comparable with Deus 2 but a lot cheaper? I only have Pulse dive, and sometimes before you suggest the Nokta Legend as best underwater detector for money (that is not to expensive). Do you still have that oppinion? 4) How much gold during years (life time) you get? Do you sell it? 5) Can you explain me what I missing using just Nokta Pulse Dive not some more expensive underwater detector) Thank you in advance for answers. I think that you are most competent person for answers because you tried a so much detectors underwater and you have so much experience. Someone told in comment that this is great editing, video without drama. I agree, I love videos without drama, but still I am sure that with a little bit of drama and little bit of story and editing you would get a lot more subskribers and views. Most people love drama, emotions, visual , story (editing). So you are great for us detectorists but for you, you could be better. My 0.2 cents :) Keep posting more underwater video anyway and post more. Thanks

Thanks for the nice words but the answer one of your questions, this is not the channel if you're looking for entertainment in terms of drama. I'm all about the detecting and while I get excited at times you're never going to see the top drama here. To answer some of your questions, I have the Nokta pulse dive and it's a good little unit for what it's designed for but it doesn't compare to the D2 in terms of performance. It is a quality inexpensive handheld detector. I've been using the Excalibur for years and recently started using the D2 which I am very pleased with so far. I'll continue diving with the D2 for now, I have many older spots I want to take it to and see how it performs. In this video I am only 10 to 12 ft and I use a SCUBA tank. Thanks for watching!

@@cpennington4368 i not looking for drama just know what mostly people want. I enjoy this type of video more than in drama videos, just notice that videos with drama outperform in terms of subscribers and views. thanks for answers but can you just answer this. You probably have some opinion, how much target i miss with pulse dive in percentage %? And how deep Deus 2 can detect 3 gram ring? Pulse dive for sure cannot go more than 20-25 centimetres (10 inch).

Crazy isn't it! I also think about the number of medallions I find without the chains and you know the chains are there as well. I have a blower and one day I'm going to bring it just to remove all the surface sand to see what shows up

Sorry I know this is a few questions but what do you tumble the jewelry with? I mean what are you using in the tumbler for the aggregate and possibly cleaning solution? And also on the electrolysis do you use clips on the annode and cathode and run each one individually or do you have a screen type of basket that holds several pieces set up in a tank or tub? I know I'm a pain in the *ss sorry 🫤
