why you put M clockwise I assumed it counterclockwise?

It doesn't really matter if he puts it as clockwise or anticlockwise to begin with, because aslong as he keeps it the same during his calculations the negative signs will cancel out and you will get a positive answer.

3:00 At the last step at EMc=0 ...... It's rotating CLOCKWISE, so it should be negative.

His answer is 100% correct. He noted the positive moment being clockwise and gave the direction in his answer... However, if he had assumed positive moment as ccw then his answer would've been negative.
