For anyone that references this video: this problem comes from a text book that uses a particular sign convention for internal forces. If you compare FinalAnswer's solutions to the book, some of the values differ in sign (+ or -). In the book, all shear forces (V) are positive if they induce a clockwise motion in the cut member. All normal forces (N) are positive if they induce tension in the cut member. And all bending moments (M) are positive if they would cause a concave-up bend (or smile shape) in the cut member. FinalAnswer isn't following these conventions, that is why his answers appear to be different. Hope that helps!

Find your videos really helpful!! I would really like you to do some shear/moment diagrams for internal forces. That would great if you could :)

How did you get a negative 500 but positive 300 when taking moment of B?

did you ever figure out why?

so i've been staring at this problem for about a year and a half and I think I finally have the solution. its because 500 lb force is rotating the system counter clockwise and the 300 lb force is rotating the system clockwise. We set the equation up so that a clockwise motion is positive (like Ay).
