frankly as 5" is close to 6" I would just round up, then calculate for 1ft then halve

I’m more lost now than I was to start …. 24ft x 35ft x 5/12ft = 350ft 🤔 HOWWWW ???? Please explain anyone !!

The 5" converts to 5/12 which equals .416. so it's 24x35x.416 and then you round up.
