No claustrophobia is not a fear of being alone - it's a fear of being in an enclosed space with no sense of escape. Claustrophobes freak out even if they are with people as they feel the 'walls closing in on them'. Being 'alone' has nothing to do with it.

I suffer major claustrophobia if closed in a space not much smaller than a coat closet. I can give myself a panic attack with just the thought of being temporarily buried alive even while knowing that I'll be released within a certain but unknown period of time

I think those questions are helpful to learn and measure general knowledge. They should not be used to measure intelligence because someone may not have a chance to learn.
